There are a bunch of new WeTek devices, officially licensed for Google Android TV - Operator Tier - where WeTek customise the device and ATV user interface for whatever a Pay TV / IPTV / STB operator wants. They are not retail devices.

The WeTek device wrxtasy linked above is designed for markets where wireless 4G (LTE) networks are more prevalent than fixed-line broadband and it's targeted at ISP/telco customers (along with IPTV middleware which is WeTek's main business). The second one I saw first-hand in January is an S905X evolution of the Hub (slightly smaller and like all S905X, it uses 100BaseT Ethernet). I was told that device may be available to consumers later in the year but there were no specific dates.

Sorry for the annoying question, I'm looking for a cheap tv box S905X based, 2gb of ram and - if possible - 32 gb of internal emmc storage. I bought a week ago a tanix tx7 seeing in a forum post that everything on that worked as a charm (WiFi, bt, cec, etc.) with the recent s905x builds; unfortunately the store sent me a mail because the product is no more available. I asked for refund but I'm again on the search for a good - yet cheap - tv box for le. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Your best solution might be to get a basic S905 box and add a twin tuner SAT>IP box. Just got one of these myself and for a 2xLNB box I paid €70.00 on top of my basic box. This makes my dvb-s future proof and automatically compatible with future LE builds.

Ah, yes. mhmh. Okay, that should work, indeed. Hopefully Amazon Prime will work in Kodi for Android in 1080p on L1 Widevine boxes and 24p stutter free refresh rate :-)....
Can DRM be decoded in hardware in the future on L1 widevine boxes wrxtasy ?

Amazon Prime won`t work in 1080p. Get an Amazon Stick for that if you need it.
