If id want work I would be a bit sad, since the idea of upgrading from Pi1 to Pi3 was a bit driven by this.
I think I read last spring about Netflix and Amazon Prime running finally on the Pi via this Chromium DRM trick.

If it will not work at all it is also not a total desaster since Kodi is running a lot smoother, although I don't know what comes from the new Pi and what from the new Kodi version.

i am using a android box with a S905X. Is it possible to get netflix working?? I searching a lot in the internet, but cannot find any solution that works. I have a UHD Account and it would be great , if netflix will be woking on kodi.

Then there's just the libwidewine to install.

Solution? Get a Chromecast for $35 or however much they cost. Either that or run Kodi from an Android device and add a Netflix-shortcut to the app.

Netflix (and Amazon Prime) will work on Pi. I've had 720p video with 5.1 audio working perfectly on mine.
Not released yet and will require a Kodi 18 build. See:

Yea but how future proof is it? What's to stop Netflix etc from blocking it?

so how do i go about getting 18 on libre elec on my pi3

It works for me in both Pi2 and Pi3, but Pi2 hasn't enough core power to play HD so it just can play 480p streams.

Pi3 can handle 720p streams smoothly, only issue I found is high temperature.

Just follow instructions in Milhouse's thread first post.
