[8.90.6] LibreELEC 9.0 Alpha for S905/S912 devices

  • Recently you asked the same question. Answer still is: copy the .tar and the dtb file into your update folder. Now, use the latest one you have available and wait for 8.90.2.

    thanks ,you are right , but in that case librelec hangs during update and i can reach box over lan ssh, not the box hangs during boot,in the principle of boot for exactly and i cant reach it from lan.

  • yes but both windows and linux mint let me see only one partition with these files,in the photo

    Exactly.

    From the .tar file you can get the required files.

    KERNEL --> kernel.img

    KERNEL.md5 --> kernel.img.md5

    SYSTEM --> SYSTEM

    SYSTEM.md5 --> SYSTEM.md5

    dtb.img file is already there.

  • i test what you suggest... but nothing,,unfurtuntely, i made another sd to test with the same version of librelec and this boots,may be there is something corrupt in the second partition and the system can't boot?' and is possible to enter secon partion from pc??

    thanks

    I can not imagine how it could happen but try also to replace the dtb.img in case something is wrong there. It is strange that there is a dtb.img.dtb file. Except if you copied it there or the auto updater did it.

    In linux you should be able to see all partitions from what I can remember. Maybe there is a tool for windows as well.

  • now i reboot with the new sd and then insert the old sd on an adpter with usb, and now i can see second partition,if i would like to backup all kodi library etc witch folder i have to save? thanks

  • hello ,i have a problem with 8.9.0.1 ,yesterday all ok,today librelec doesn't boot the box remain on the logo before boot librelec,if i remove sd ,box normaly boot? what i can do? without reinstalling librelec from 0?? thanks

    Download the tar and replace the files on the SD card

    v8.90.2 has much stuttering on 4k WLAN-streaming with my BQEEL S912 Box. Buffer runs out. Streams have max 15000 kbit/s.

    Going back to 8.90.1.1 - streams smoothly again.

    You can replace advancedsettings to improve this.

  • Good friends here I tried to upgrade from the version

    8.2.2.3 to 8.90.1 plus tvheadend did not establish a connection

    I went ahead tried a clean install with version 8.90.1

    Same problem tvheadend connects and disconnects

    The kszaq version works perfectly here 8.2.2.3

    I would like to move on with the most updates I was barred with tvheadend.

    How to solve this problem?:thumbup::thumbup:

  • I'm using 8.90.2 with tvheadend, and all is OK!.;)

  • Please provide a sample file. I think, these are 10 bit H.264 files.

    Can't easily provide a sample, but here is the full video report from mediainfo for one of the files. I've removed some duplicate lines:
