Don't use 10 bits with an LG. It'll screw up SDR, and won't improve anything in HDR.
I have a B7 too.

Hi guys I know this is the wrong place but please could someone help, I have LE installed on SD card and would like to update the firmware on my box, what do i have to do to boot back up to LE after the firmware update without having to do a clean install thanks.
just plug the card back in, I'm not sure, but if it doesn't boot to Libre, use the pinhole reset method.

1. shutdown box
2. remove sd card
3. power on and install firmware update
4. shutdown box and insert sd card again
5. power on - toothpick or another method to enable reboot from sd car
6. reboot from LE

Install terminal emulator on Android then type "reboot update", your Android will boot to your microSD card and install LibreELEC again. You will not have to do a complete setup again, it just makes your version of LibreELEC bootable again.
Thanks for all the help I'll try all the options I'm sure one of them will work.
so I don't have to put a .dtb and .img or .tar in the update folder?
Daz If you're upgrading from anything before 8.2.0.1, the safest way to upgrade is to have both tar and dtb in update folder.
I get the notice, that a new version is available
after every reboot and auto-update is set to
auto, but nothing happens.
How do I get that update then automatically?
Anyone?
Daz, when you said you wanted to update the firmware, I thought you wanted to update the Android firmware.
If you want to update Libreelec, just do as kszaq says
Anyone?
Did you wait until the download was finished before rebooting?

I gave my box enough time to download, but it didn't update on next boot, so I updated it manually
Yes I want to flash the boxes android version with a much newer version and then go back to using LE.
Then all you need to do, is remove the sd card with libreelec, flash android, then put sd card back & reboot.
if libreelec is already on the card & boots normally, what makes you think you need to do anything else?
with libreelec on the card, it is totally independent from android
ello. I have KII Pro (s905) with latest kszaq´s libreelec (8.2.2.2).HTS Tvheadend 4.2.5 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v8.2.113.
In live TV there is every 5 - 8 minutes small lag (artefacts and sound distortion) for 1 - 2 seconds. I use dvb-s tuner.
Does anybody has similar issue?

For Tvheaden42 set following options:
- for every standard Maximum PIDs: 26
- Configuration ->Channel/EPG->EPG Grabber Modules->Over-the-Air: EIT: DVB Grabber->Enabled"
but I´m not sure if this has something to do with my problem (I didn´t set it yet)
