Use clonezilla, bear in mind, if you set a fixed ip address, they will all have it.
2. Libreelec is based on linux, perhaps someone can create drivers for it.
I would like to run AverMedia TD310 on Raspberry Pi 3. I have installed latest LibreELEC, but TV tuner is not recognized by Tvheadend Server 4.2.
Based on this link I conclude that AverMedia TD310 should by supported under Linux.
I am not familiar with Linux (but otherwise I am computer literate). As LibreELEC beginner I have few questions:
Q1/ It should be install some extra drivers to make Aver TD310 wokring under LibreELEC or should be working with standard LibreELEC drivers?
There are three LibreELEC driver modules A) LE default driver, B) DVBdrivers for TBD and C) DVB drivers from the last kernel
Q2/ Which one (or anyone?) is suitable for Aver TD310?
If some extra drivers are needed...
Q3/ Where can I find it and how can I install it?
I tried LibreELEC version 9.0.2 and 9.2.6 (RPi2.arm) with same result - TV tuner was not recognized by Tvheadend Server 4.2.
I tried follow this guide to install AVerMedia TD310 on Ubuntu 20.04 - without success (log/output is in attachment, but I do not understand it).
Can somebody gime me advice (step by step) how to make it working?
Thank you for help
You don't need linux. Install Libreelec. then add tvhead addons. Search under addons for tvh. You should find the server & client. Install them. For the server, you need to configure it, add the ip address, of the Pi, then give it a logon name & password.
Then from a web browser type in ipaddress with the port number 9981. 192.168.0.xx:9981
this should open the wizard.
Under configuration TV adapters you should see a folder open it, IF you can see a file you have the correct driver, if not, then going back to Libreelec try a different DVB module. I think these are found under programs.
I don't remember much about this. I have a remote conf file, which uses the Pivos xdios profile from harmony. You might be able to modify it.
I'm sorry, my comments have not been very helpful & are childish.
I didn't post the Your'e riding a dead horse I was translating that to English, as this is an English speaking forum.
Also, as an English speaking forum, I'm a smartarse
I can watch flawlessly everything i download. what are you downloading? that seems against the rules.
Also, in my opinion, if you want over clocking you need to be looking at your device. I don't think this is a Libreelec problem.
Now this is against the forum rules on respect & being polite.
Stop being a tightwad, buy yourself a newer device.
There are no Libre or Core Elec builds for the shield. You need the Android version of Kodi.
I tried import export, from an android to ELEC device, it didn't work. Perhaps I did something wrong, but I don't think they are compatible, but you have nothing to lose.
try using a usb to sd card adapter
Betatester has said he has no problem, so upload to the CE remote thread.
Ah, but I know about that one, but it say's its for AMlogic (S905, ....)
I actualy ask in my post if there is a post like that for the Rockchip (RK3xxx) chip one's ?
Is there a post like that ?
or should I add the rockchip one in the AMlogic thread ?
I have asked the maintainer, Betatester if he thinks or wants it to be added. I'll get back to you when he lets me know.
Aperantly we where working on the same problem at the same time
With alot of help from forum user SpikeSP87 , I was finaly able to create a working remote file for this box with libreelec.
(when I say create, I mean I just typed everything SpikeSP87 told me to type step by step )
It was alot harder than for my two other boxes that have AMlogic S905 chips.
My box and remote :
Put rc_maps.cfg in the /storage/.config folder
and put rem.txt in the /storage/.config/rc_keymaps folder
reboot, and presto it works,
My box has one weird thing tho, even when not mapped to any command , when I press the blue VOL+ button my box just instantly completely shuts down , not even the normal "kodi shut down spinning circle first" it is just a hard power kill
I wonder if that is just my box or a problem with all these model boxes on libreelec ?
this is why the normal volume function in my file is mapped to the TV VOL- and TV VOL+ buttons, but you can remap this for your needs afcourse.
I hope it helps anyone,
P.S. is there a remote files depository somewhere for these rockchip boxes I can upload it to ?
I know the coreelec forum has something like that for the AMlogic boxes they use.
CE Remote Repo please can you follow the instructions in which way to add to thee repo. Thanks For your contribution
