I recently installed Libreelec on a generic x86 platform. I am using HDHomeRun as my tuner and TVHeadEnd as the PVR. The night before last I recorded a show via a timer. The show recorded and plays, however when it plays, there is no sound. All other KODI parts produce sound, music, YouTube and even Chrome. What do I need to send you to help debug this issue?

Any news on an updated version CvH ? Can't update to latest LibreELEC without
Found the problem I was having with no audio on playback. Under System -> Settings -> System -> Audio at the bottom there is several settings dealing with audio passthrough. I set the device for the passthrough to the same as the regular audio above and now playback works.
HELP NEEDED with charset issue in closed captions
Hello all,
After many unsuccessful attempts to get my closed captions to show correctly in streams from my Tvheadend server I am turning to you for help.
Problem: French accented characters are plainly missing from the captions. No characters whatsoever shown in their place.
Setup:
- KODI 18.3 running under libreelec 9.1.002 on a Chromebox
- TVHeadend server 4.2.7-44
- TVHeadend client 4.4.18.2 running on the same machine as the server
- locale set to UTF-8, fr_CA
The problem does not appear to depend on the tvheadend client, as I am getting the same problem when accessing the tvheadend server from a client running on a different machine.

can you somehow test the "normal" Tvheadend package for Debina/Ubuntu ? Maybe it is already broken at Tvh. Could also be a problem with our build but thats nothing I can really test at all.
Any news on an updated version
problems are fixed and updated builds are running from scratch, so it takes a while
Are you also rebuilding for LE9.0?

I couldn't run it on CoreElec 9.1.I installed the generic version.installation is missing WP2

We have nothing that match the old versions used at CoreELEC at our 9.2 branch, you could try the RPi2/4 build and hope the best but likely it won't work.
yea was due a failed build, the first build is now finished, have fun
