Just upgraded both my NUC and RPi3 systems and it was a smooth and successful upgrade. Thanks for all your hard work on this.

I just updated my Rpi to 9.2 and Tvheadend no longer works. I tried to uninstall the addon an install again but it tells me 'install failed'.
Anyone can help?

When will the automatic update get fixed?

no tearing for me. i dont have hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 enabled and running the gui on 1920x1080. no tearing at all.
maybe you ask why i dont have that setting? Because all my 4k Content is 23,94 or 25 or 30fps. And i bet most of the Kodi users dont have 4k Content running on 50/60. So please do me a favour all. Dont use hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 if u look at pirated content only. And pls dont complain about tearing if you dont know what u are doing...
Set the GUI to 1920x1080 and you are fine.
LibreELEC team

Kodi's GUI was not designed for 4K60, certainly the default skins weren't.
Using a 1080p screen for the GUI/menus is recommended for now.
Also, this is the news section. If any of you have problems with LibreELEC, react to an existing thread or create a thread of your own.

Updated my Rpi2 yesterday.
Problems seen so far:
- similar do these ( Raspberry Pi 3B+ h264 1080i hardware deinterlacing broken?, rpi4 audio/video issues when attempting to stream live TV ) deinterlacing with MMAL Advanced forces audio/video out of sync after a few seconds. Workaround is switching to MMAL Bob or disabling deinterlacing.
- this ( Overclocking partially broken with DVFS firmware · Issue #1290 · raspberrypi/firmware · GitHub ) breaks gpu / h264 overclocking and with it playing 1080p 60fps videos on Rpi2. Stock 250Mhz are not sufficient for this, but 300MHz did the trick for me until now. -
Hello. Is there no 9.2 version for WetekPlay? I only can see 9.0.2
-
If you've been hanging on to an Amlogic device, you may as well throw it in the bin and go for something else.
AMLogic continues to be pertectly valid to play non H265 videos.

Been searching the wiki and the forum. I understand that we need to move to the official nightly images for all amlogic devices.
However, I cannot find any direction on how to achieve it?
-
I have same problem. Can we please get an option to upgrade Wetek systems also.....

We removed all support for the Amlogic vendor kernel used in older releases so an LE 9.2 release is not possible. Meanwhile; here's Linux 5.5-rc3 kernel and Kodi v19 (pre-alpha) running on a WeTek Hub http://ix.io/25bl and WP2 http://ix.io/25gh. Recent changes to the hardware decode driver require some rework to ffmpeg and Kodi before I can push an update to LE master branch and make nightly builds usable again. I'm also exploring what's needed for mainline u-boot to run on those devices.

Thx a lot for this answer. Now I get the problem.
Would it be "a good idea" to change my home system away from Amlogic in regards to more easy support from you in the future?
My plan for 2020 was to change it to a system that can handle 4K playback since I just got a 4K TV.

An Intel NUC or an RPi 4B has much better Linux support, compared to Amlogic. They can both handle 4K.
Both have good support, but the RPi 4B has more sites of work until software will be optimized.
