Here we go with a final rb-krypton18 release:
Release rb-krypton18: rockchip: add dvb and cec compat ioctl patches · Raybuntu/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub
If you've been using the mega link from yesterday you don't have to do anything it's the same file. No changes since yesterday.
The ROCK64 build is not that stable yet. Builds are based on @Kwiboo's LibreELEC krypton tree. HEVC and h.264 HW decoding is working good. I've tested widevine DRM through inputstream.adaptive with DAZN. It's working really good.
mpeg2 and vc-1 are not HW decoded, which makes vc-1 basically unusable. CEC works with libcec thanks to @Kwiboo's libcec adapter (although I haven't tested CEC or DVB yet). There is always a chance for some compat ioctl missing. I've also noticed graphic errors sometimes.
Those Krypton builds are basically a pre pre alpha preview and I will change focus on Leia for ROCK64 in the future so don't expect many updates here.
EDIT: And here we go with final rb-leia7:
Same file as yesterday posted at mega.nz
Is the rock64 also an amlogic device or is it using another soc? I saw that you can choose a 4gb memory rock64?
Does it support also hd audio?
Is this also for odroid C2?
And is this also 64bit kernel and 32bit libs?
Unfortunately i was watching a x265 local movie over the network with hyperion and the issue was there with rb-krypton15.3.
I didn't have this issue past week.
It comes about 1 hour watching movie then the movie going slowdown and lag and eventually it freezes.
Will try tomorrow with a x264 file.
In your build for odroid C2 live tv has dd 5.1 when passtrough enabled.
Raybuntu's krypton build has multichannel when passtrough enabled.
Is something changed?
How to set the audio settings in your build to get multichannel i live tv with passtrough enabled?
What edits did you make to the advanced settings?
I put this in my advancedsettings.
After this i have no more lags or slowdowns or freezes with hyperion and live tv and other local media...
I also did some changes with smoothing in my hyperion.config.json
Running this for a week now and all good.
rb-krypton15.3 odroid C2.
I only removed kernel log spam by request. Please note that Hyperion does not work in Raybuntu's Krypton build, only in Leia - at least that's what Marciano reported.
kszaq i edited my post earlier and did a later test with latest raybuntu's build and i have no issues after i modified my advancedsettings..
Don't know if that was related but issues no more.
Sorry for confusion.
Tested with latest raybunyu's krypton 15.3 on my odroid C2 and no issues with hyperion after i edited my advanced settings.
I have the same on my odroid C2.
And on my second odroid C2 i installed raybuntu's rb-leia4.3 and no issues so far with hyperion and live tv and other media.
- touch /storage/.update/.nocompat
- Download update image to Update directory.
- Place device WP2 device tree in Update directory.
Thanks i did exactly what you said but it's hanging on the LE splash screen.
Can't ssh also any suggestions?
I have a wetek play to running raybuntu's krypton 64bit kernel 32bit libs.
How do i upgrade to your build on my WP2?
I tried to upgrade but i get compatibility error
Is your build for WP2 full 64bit?
Thank you for supporting S905/S905X
Is your build 8.0.2e also support Wetek play2 also, I'm running now raybuntu's buils but i want to try this one.
Do i need to download LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2e.img.gz and extract and then copy the first partition to my sd card and boot?
I installed the latest and all is working fine now!
But when i start php i get this message:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/storage/.kodi/addons/service.web.lamp/lib/php_gettext.dll' - /storage/.kodi/addons/service.web.lamp/lib/php_gettext.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
It's working but i think php extension gettext is missing.
Is it possible to enable this extension somehow?
Thank you very much!
Ok, then try this one.
If doesn't start run this two commands in console and post result.
I'll try this when get home.
I let you know if it's working.
Thank you very much!
