we have already heard you are very busy atm.
Do you have a fix for Audio passtrough not working as expected ? no dts, TrueHD etc.

Multichannel audio support needs an alsa plugin creating. It's on the to-do list, but it's a major piece of work so it makes more sense to do this on a mainline (modern) kernel codebase where it will also benefit Amlogic and Allwinner hardware instead of sinking the effort into the older (current) Rockchip 4.4 kernel codebase which we view as temporary and not a long-term solution.
TL/DR; better audio support will come, but not for a while yet.
I made some new LE images for testing.
do you have some git/sources for that changes ?

LE master 28/10 + kwiboo's unmerged PR Rockchip: package updates by Kwiboo · Pull Request #3058 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub
Saw a build wasn't available yet with these changes and previous posts mentioned the color options & clipping not working correctly so I built one.
ah sorry thought you have something additional
btw you have a better dtb with a working remote for MVR9, could you pr it ?

Hi
Here is a PR for the MVR9 ir remote.
It is the same one as used for the Rockbox.
Layout of some of the keys might be a bit different, not sure, can test.

The current trn9 remote is used for lots of other RK3328/RK3399 devices like UM4, UT5, NT-N8, NT-V9 and also works on MVR9.
I have many movies HEVC 4k 10bits. Is the rock64 compatible with these videos?. I need a board with USB3, gigabit, etc.. With the rockpro64, these videos are unwatchable.

It's not 100% yet. 4K is ok. 4k and 10bits on some of my files causes lag or skipping.

Thank you. It seems that the same thing happens with rockpro64. I have tried the C2 and now, it works without problems. Problem resolved temporarily.
I just kicked off with RK3399 rockpro64 nightly 20181103-ebe6234.
Really nice!
I personally need to get carl9170.ko module in there somehow, because of my WiFi adapter. It's temporary until my actual rockchip wifi card arrives.
I've compiled carl9170 for ayufan's debian image (but that was under 4.4.132) and that worked great, but I don't know all the steps to build that module for libreelec's 4.4.154. I suppose it involves me manually patching the mainline kernel with a huge list of rockchip64-specific patches?
(Or is there a direct pre-patched kernel source link for these nightlies so I could just make quick adjustments?)
I have a fan attached to pwm1 and I like to have it spinning at all times in my use case.
So on ayufan's debian image, I can do "echo 255 > /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/pwm1"
I don't know how to control this fan yet without hwmon, SoC is generally all pretty new to me, but I'm picking up fast.
Anyway, does this nightly know how to control the 2-pin fan header on the rockpro64?
And in general, am I doing it wrong by doing "echo 255" like that / is there a more correct way?
When will available a new test version with the latest Kwiboo patches? The last nightly is 03.11.
What about the MBAFF deinterlacing?
Could be a while. Our efforts with the RK 4.4 kernel codebase have been a stop-gap until VPU support for the mainline kernel was available and the changes to add this now been submitted so we've started the lengthy process of rebasing against Linux 4.19 - which means no more real-world effort against the 4.4 codebase.
NB: Next 9.0 Alpha will come out with changes to Kodi but nothing much more. We have no plans to release Rockchip Beta or full release LE 9.0 images - Rockchip will remain in an Alpha state until at least LE 9.2.
Could you make a new testbuild with latest changes for mvr9?

I see the last nightly was 04.11.2018
libreelec-rk3328.arm-9.0-nightly-20181103-ebe6234-box-trn9.img.gz
But there were Kwiboo changes merged on 04.11.2018, so I'll try to make a new image tomorrow.
Those changes are already in the 29.10.2018 image, just the general LE changes from 3-10 Nov will then be new.

Can you make a new test image for Z28 too? Thanks!
