Did this cause the absence of 24 Hz too?
It was never absent.

I'm currently running the gxm_q200_2g device tree installed to memory on a Minix Neo U9.
If I want to try out the minix specific tree do I just samba in and replace the dtb.img then reboot?
Sorry if this is the wrong spot for this.
I will be pushing 8.2.2.1a shortly to fix smoothness in 8.2.2.1.
The bug was caused by a non-clean build over my post-8.2.1.2 experiments. In other words: one of the system component did not compile correctly.
Thanks kszaq! Very quick response!!
I have same issue (video sync reported in 8.2.2.1) on your 905X update. I presume you will recompile that build/update too?
Thanks

S905 build doesn't need to be recompiled.
kszaq is there any difference between gxm_q200_2g_minix_neo_u9.dtb and the one posted by wrxtasy here ? Should I just keep using the wrxtasy one ?

Thanks (my bad).
There will be a new 905X update thought, correct? (My Mecool M8S Pro + no longer has 24Hz/29.997 sync after yesterday's update - now syncs at 30Hz)

"Mine" is compiled from source and should be the same as from Wrxtasy but mine will automatically update if there's a need in the future. One thing to note: I don't know if mine works because nobody cared to test it after a request.

Even your own requests to test stuff gets lost in the spam lol Anyway updated to 8.2.2.1a using gxm_q200_2g_minix_neo_u9.dtb box rebooted and updated without issue. Not sure what I should be looking out for but everything plays and all looks good
I've just picked up a Minix Neo U9-H (updated to the latest firmware) and installed the 8.2.2.1 build from sd card without any problems, quite painless actually!.
Whilst setting up Kodi how I wanted it, received the 8.2.2.1a update, which installed, again, without any problems.
Now, I've no point of reference, as this is a new box/new build to me but 4k HDR content and 1080p blu's play fine, so far.
All my content is streamed over a Gb network from a unRAID nas using samba shares, I've not watched a full movie yet, I will do tonight and report back, but from what I've seen so far, all looks pretty good to me.
Thanks for all your efforts!

Well auto framerate down to 23.976 worked great on 8.2.1.2 not in 8.2.2.1 but again its working in 8.2.2.1a. Probably due to the unclean build. It is just a bit slow because it is running from USB.
Hello.
kszaq , I found, that my tv box with 3GB RAM has DTS with
memory@00000000 {
device_type = "memory";
linux,usable-memory = <0x0 0x100000 0x0 0xbff00000>;
};
I am newbie in u-boot and DTB files, but I think, that 0xbff00000 means 3,220,176,896 bytes = 3220176896/(1024^2)=3,071 GB , right?
But I see in Kodi System Info, that it found only 2,805MB of RAM.
Why not all RAM showing in Kodi?
It looks like you use aarch64 and it should use all available RAM
uname -a
Linux LibreELEC 3.14.29 #1 SMP Fri Oct 6 14:11:43 CEST 2017 aarch64 GNU/Linux
ArtUrlWWW Look at the beginning of dmesg - some part of RAM is reserved for framebuffer, video decoders etc. That's why it's not available for userspace.
Thank you!
8.2.2.1a + gxm_q200_2g_minix_neo_u9.dtb = OK
Only this problem remains:
Is it possible to change "Favourites" view? Like list view or smth like that.
400+ skipped frames after 2 minutes of playing a Twitch stream 1h1jv goes fine for the first minute or so then is unwatchable. Just played a stream, stop and closed kodi
Merry Christmas to everybody

Completely off-topic and wrong forum. Try it in the Kodi forum itself.
