hi
what image to use for tronsmart mxiii plus?
-
If i use the image in USB in Minix X8HP don't boot. If i use update from tar to nand boot but the image gets the resolution of 480p and wifi do not work. Resetting the image has the same resolution, having to force the 1080p

there is a version of V8.0.2a for a M8S??
Thanks
-
Still no luck, 8.0.2a not working on my M8.
Demetris - Any idea what it was you changed after 8.0 RC4 that could be responsible for every subsequent version not working for me?

M8S users try LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-MXIII-1G.img.gz install it. I've got M8S (2GB/8GB, Fast ethernet, AP6330)
I success with that version. It works great! But the little problems are impossible power on/suspend, only 1GB recognized ram.
But I solove it using TV's USB port x3 for M8S power. When I turn of TV, TV supply 5V to M8S
Thank you very much Demetris!

It's really nice sound! Sure I can I'll do my best I'm absolutely ready
IR remote works but I copied my remote.conf to .config folder
And wifi & bluetooth ear set all works
Tvheadend 4.2 works and all great works
Only recognized 1gb ram and power on are in trouble. I installed it nand. But I couldn't clean install it. First I installed LibreELEC-S8X2.default.arm-7.0-devel-20170124000114-r23703-ge207b78.zip after use .update folder in your rom LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-MXIII-1G.img.gz
My M8S board photo attatched
My firmware is this
ENY_m8s_ap6330_8g2g_150728_SD_withoutaddons.rar
Thank you very much!

For power on & suspend issue go fetch and flash from your manufacturer the newest bootloader i can do nothing about it!
Please use S82 image that works for your M8S 100% with 2gb ram!

I tried S82 image again, but it doesn't work. Stopping M8S logo forever. I did rollback it LibreELEC-S8X2.default.arm-7.0-devel-20170124000114-r23703-ge207b78.zip and after LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2a-MXIII-1G.img.gz your image. I did it all just for 5 minuets
-
hmm ok let me manually edit k200b 1gb board file for you then
-
hello demetris, i have updated my m8 android box to your newest build, but i noticed two things, when i try and use the remote, i get no reaction on the screen, and when i go look for the update section in the libreelec config program, it is blank, no source.

Thank you very much I have lots of time. Do not take it easy and slow it down. You do not have to. I'm already satisfied thank you for your work

It seems that I have exactly the same board as wowwoo
I have tried in the past most LE8 images from this thread and couldnt install them on an SD card. As wowwoo mentioned the process hangs with the M8S logo (didnt try to install on internal NAND).
I would be happy being able to install this thread recent image and will wait for Demetris to prepare a 2G image.
BTW,
Wowwoo, can you give more detailed instructions for how to install LibreELEC-S8X2.default.arm-7.0-devel-20170124000114-r23703-ge207b78.zip
on an external SD card ? (Currently I am only familiar with the process of burning an SD card with an img.gz).
Many thanks

LibreELEC 7 deveop version makes your M8S to LibreELEC only device. It has update_param script and rom.zip file these are like android update rom. It can't install to SD or USB. So I install it to nand, cause recovery to android too easy

I'm looking to install this img on a 1g MXIII G. I have a couple questions: I have an older build written by Wilro version 7.0.2 running off an SD card:
[ROM] Unofficial OpenELEC for MXIII-G & Tronsmart MXIII+ - FreakTab.comI'm not sure how to install the current Demetris image. Would the method still be to copy the Demetris img to the .update folder and reboot?
If not, I'm not clear on the method to use - img to SD then toothpick boot?
I would appreciate some help with the install method.
Thanks

If you running any version of openelec or libreelec on SD I think you just put new image to .update folder
Toothpick method needs only first time install that I know
