Recommendation on new hardware

So here's the situation I'm experiencing. The RPi4 does indeed boot-up, and LE is working, but this is only on my PlayStation HDMI monitor. If I connect the RPi4 where my existing ZBOX is, it just displays an HDMI 2 screen that says "NO SOURCE". I don't know why it won't display the LE interface. When I can take any one of my LE setups on other ZBOX's, plug them in, they work. My Denon amp is set to HDMI 2, the TV is also setup to HDMI 2, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why it won't see the RPi4. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

That doesn't really seem to be helpful to me. I could be wrong though. The thing is this. My TV and Amplifier are newer than my PlayStation monitor, so why would the cable be an issue on the newer, but not the older. I am more than willing to buy the HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 cable, but I can't even seem to find one at Best Buy Canada, or Canada Computers. I unfortunately don't sue Amazon. This is just so confusing to me. I really didn't think the RPi would give me such headaches.

If this doesn't help add "video=HDMI-A-1:1920@1080" to the end of /flash/cmdline.txt (everything has to be on a single line!) to force HD mode and disable any 4k modes your TV/AVR may advertise.

I will try that and see if it works. If that doesn't then I am not sure how to add the line to cmdline.txt, or how to even gain access to that file. I also don;t have any 4K devices, if that helps.

@HiassofT - I am trying to write to that file using WinSCP but it won't let me do so. The RPi4 does indeed work directly plugged in to the Samsung TV HDMI 1 port, but as I stated, I am not sure how to write to that file. I am assuming it's a permissions issue?

It appears to work when I plug it in directly to the TV, but I've edited that file, added the line, verified that it's there, and it still does not show the LE menu. All I see on my screen is No Signal on Hometheater HDMI 2.

You were right. If I took the time to read the entire thread, I would have seen the use of the hotplug option. My sincere apologies. I added it to the config.txt, and it actually worked. Thank you for pointing that out.

Although I am still playing around with my RPi4. Can anyone tell me if the following system is sufficient to run LE Nexus without any issues? I am not into 4K, just 1080p and that's good enough.
