[8.0.2c] LibreELEC 8.0 builds for KI Plus / KII Pro / KI Pro

  • in fact, meecool K1 PRO is the best for the moment, S905"D" dual tuner, 2 GB of DDR4, sure it's the way to go

    Thank you for the rapid answer!! How does it handle 4K and Libreelec? Does the SAT work correctly with Libreelec?

  • Test build with fixed massive frame skipping.

    LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2-devel-201706271833-gc89478b-I.img.gz

    This version is using same kernel as johngatl's Testing7.

    Sorry for late report. Pity, but nothing has changed in this build. I even made clean install of it on the brand-new device, but glitch still present.
    As i own K2 Pro (not K1 Pro), i've been using DTB from here, maybe my problem related to this? Thanks again for your work!

  • Helo all of you I'am a totaly noob when it comes to Libreelec in combination with TVheadend and Oscam, but my dvb-c is running, at last :) but only in FTA modus, somehow I can't get it to work (yet) with my external C-line source. In the original DTV app, no problem , I tried to configure the oscam part exactly the same way but without result, it looks like I am unable (to much noob probably) to configure the tvheadend part and oscam , so that they communicate the right way. Hope someone can help me out here. BTW I have the KI PRO.

    edit: By taking a little more time to figure things out I finally got it to communicate with my cccamserver:)

    my OScam.conf:

    [global]

    logfile = /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.softcam.oscam/log/oscam.log

    disableuserfile = 0

    clienttimeout = 9000

    nice = -1

    usrfile = /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.softcam.oscam/log/oscamuser.log

    cwlogdir = /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.softcam.oscam/log/cw

    emmlogdir = /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.softcam.oscam/log/emm

    lb_save = 100

    suppresscmd08 = 1

    [cache]

    delay = 25

    [dvbapi]

    enabled = 1

    au = 1

    pmt_mode = 0

    request_mode = 1

    user = tvheadend

    boxtype = pc-nodmx

    [webif]

    httpport = 8888

    httprefresh = 2

    httppollrefresh = 2

    httphideidleclients = 0

    httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.254.254

    my OSCAM.USER:

    [account]

    user = tvheadend

    pwd =

    au = share1

    group = 1

    my Oscam.server:

    [reader]

    label = share1

    protocol = cccam

    device = SERVER_IP,PORT

    user = cccamusername

    password = cccampassword

    inactivitytimeout = 30

    group = 1

    cccversion = 2.2.1

    ccckeepalive = 1

    cccreshare = 0

    But I hope you guys are willing to help me out to speedup channel switching. Now it needs at least 5 seconds to go to another channel, FTA or coded doesn't mather. I used TVheadend what's inside the .img from post1.

  • For Tvheadend - Oscam connection use recommendation from #363.

    For sending EMM from Tvheadend to Oscam, Oscam have to login to tvheadend. In tvheadend create user/password (e.g. tvheadend/tvheadend). In Oscam add password:

    Code
    1. [account]
    2. user = tvheadend
    3. pwd = tvheadend
    4. au = share1
    5. group = 1

    P.S.

    5 sec channel switching is most likely maximus for current Krypton implementation. In previous version it was longer and it is slow on any kodi platform.

  • Hi, can someone tell me why I have a message on Tvheadend "no signal" ?

    KII Pro / Wiwa Dream Player TV - LibreElec testing...

  • Bluetooth should work (ki pro)?

    I can't find my ps3 controller.

    Thanks in advance

    My bt keyboard is working with ki pro.

    This is version for testing and it isn't recommended to install it to internal. But anyway for update internal from SD you can use 'installtointernal'. In this version, installtointernal has modify dialog for preserving data partition (LE config). Finally you can update putting .img to /storage/.update, but don't forget add nougat dtb.

    My mistake ;), I forgot that the first time need to connect wired, and only then is able to connect wirelessly.

    Pls, @zbigzbig20 verify if is running WP2 internal tuner, I did a adjustment in linux config

    Hi afl1! Unfortunately, this build still has buggy frame-switching. As you can notice in the log samples below - media frame rate and screen mode chosen by Kodi does not match in your build :(

    Afl1's build:

  • THX vevs , I forgot include nougat fractional frame rate fix.
