I am a bit lost about how to configure video levels to "RGB Full" on the GPU driver.
In the past (on Leia) I configured the GPU to "RGB Full" using xrandr like this:
But in this image there is no xrandr. Maybe it is not using X11 anymore?
Is there a different way to configure GPU video levels? I am using a NUC7i5BNK
Thank you!
No X11 = no xrandr.
You can use proptest to switch to RGB full.
Thank you, I will give it a try.
I am having some problems with this image. One is related to playing videos (sometimes do not start) and one is related to waking up from standby. Are you interested in more detailed bug reports?
This is not a complain and I am very grateful for your images and I am aware that those are test images not meant for productive usage.
Are you interested in more detailed bug reports?
My builds are just a preview of lrusak's work-in-progress (the HDR part). No need for detailed bug reports at this point.
Ok, thanks again for everyone involved into this. Looking forward for future releases.
Have the same issue on my NUC11TN no HD Passthrough audio, then audio does not work until a reboot. All other audio formats seem fine.
Is anyone else having this problem? I don't think this is specific to this particular build, I am also experiencing it with the nightly.
Updated build (Feb.17):
- Current Kodi master + HDR patches from lrusak
- Linux kernel 5.17-rc4
- Intel media-driver 22.2.1 (fixed HW acceleration on ADL-S)
LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-11.0-devel-20220217225924-720d9a5.img.gz
So smp, how this build is aligned to current LE-Generic.x86_64-11.0-nightly? Should I expect that all above commits/patches are already in nightly builds or this is not the case?
The last build by SMP was February 17th vs LE nightly (the alpha current build).
If you look at Kodi code on GitHub you can see all the Kodi changes since 17th Feb:
LE daily builds are not triggered by Kodi development but are triggered by LE commits. It is not obvious for me which Kodi version, kernel version or drivers version has been merged with current LE master branch, thus my question.
Hi adam.h.
Closed pull requests good to look at too.
In answer to your question.
Kodi - https://github.com/LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv/pull/6291
Kernel - (in tomorrows nightly) https://github.com/LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv/pull/6210
Intel stuff - https://github.com/LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv/pull/6302
Mesa - https://github.com/LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv/pull/6288
Nightlies does not have the wip HDR patches - if that is a consideration.
Otherwise nightlies are kept current with Intel+Mesa, with Kodi and Kernel regularly (no real rule around this - usually a draft kernel PR in place for the kernel)
You can check the history of both of these
cool, thanks heitbaum!
Thanks very much, smp.
Sorry if it's a noob question: I am running a 10.x HDR build from last September. Is it possible to update without losing any data or setting? If yes, how?
Do you have a copy of the librelec 10 build. I would love to try it. Thanks..is it stable?

Is anybody using this on a AMD APU? (Ryzen 5600g) without major issues?
I´'d much preffer to kiss the Windows build goodbye but the last time I tried (It was LE 10 + HDR patches) not even screen resolution worked after the first reboot (kept starting up in 640x480 res for some reason). I will eventually try but it would be nice to know.

I have this running on AMD Ryzen 5600G and works to some extent. The HDR signal is there, but the switching doesn't quite work correctly.
On my LG C1 TV, I have to switch Deep colour from 4K to Off and then back to 4K for the HDR to kick in, but it then doesn't turn off when I return to the UI. Also, doesn't seem to work at all with some HDR10 content.
The same TV will work fine with Kodi on the NVIDIA Shield and the same content (on the same HDMI port), so it is likely something relating to the switching method in the HDR patches.

Same problem here with NUC8i3BEH.
What about try the previous build that work on NUC8i3BEH ? and wait for the next one. I've held off on several nucs
Just wanted to comment that this build has future proofed my old ASRock J3455-ITX with Intel HD 500 graphics for a couple more years. Started using AMLogic hardware running CoreELEC, but now my old HTPC build does HDR up to 2160p @30hz Thanks! smp For daily use, I'm experiencing many crashes though. Often on database operations.
