It's in the latest nightly test builds now.

Wow, fantastic!
Between 4K HDR video, HBR audio and dual hdmi, one for video, one for audio, I'm golden! No need to upgrade the old AVR for a while, I already have a spare Pi 4, no need for a power hungry windows box.
The Kodi and LibreElec crews rock it, thanks to all!

The Problem is ... how to find a 5m Micro HDMI Cable

Just use a HDMI to micro-HDMI adapter ?

Which one which support 4k60 and HDR?

Audio over RPi HDMI-1 is a pretty new feature, so it could be buggy. Can you try RPi HDMI-0 -> TV -> AVR?
This setup works, but since my receiver only supports ARC and not EARC, HD audio tracks are transformed into Dolby Digital or DTS.
This is why I want to use HDMI-0 output for video and HDMI-1 output for audio.
-
Or try HDMI-0 -> AVR -> TV, which is my setup because my TV as well as my AVR only support ARC.
As my receiver is not a 4K, such a connection would not work.
-
All of my HDR content is washed out. Is there a setting I need to get hdr working? I've tried the nightlies from the last few days only.
EDIT: I just noticed its a known problem, but I don't understand why it works for some people and not others.

Today I made a last attempt, replace the hdmi cable that goes from the raspberry to the receiver, even in this case it doesn't work.
Another thing that I forgot to specify is that if I connect the receiver to the hdmi0 port and the TV to the hdmi1 port the raspberry does not start or at least there is no video signal on the hdmi1 output.
For those looking for the 5m cable, these are the ones I bought:

Very pleasantly surprised that this is already up and running.
Installed fresh and had a solid run today with no issues at all playing 4K HDR movies.
Fab work! Many thanks!

Seems very nice, I'm planning to get RPi4 2gb. What display you connect to your Pi ?

Hello @all , have installed the latest Nightly but have the problem that the sound format is only displayed as a PCM at the Ambeo Soundbar. Atmos is not available for selection. TV is an LG GX 4k

Yes, good times!. The Libreelec team really is rather impressive
As for gear I currently use a decent Sony Bravia 75".
I am a retired Home Theatre professional and have a small but well tuned hobby surround setup for my cinematic needs;)
I am currently using a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with 8GB RAM. Got the big RAM as a precaution as the earlier
versions of Kodi made more demands on the RAM but the system report on the nightly I am using now:
LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-10.0-nightly-20210315-c5d7822
.. says I am using just under 700MB when playing full bandwidth 4K HDR so 2GB might be ok but I should maybe get the 4GB version if I were you if you can afford it.
Should perhaps also mention I have active optical HDMI cables as in my setup it would not work without it on a 4m run.
Good luck!

Not yet. It's a bit tricky and we have to be careful not to break other configurations.

Most likely you are running into the same problem as linuxuser but we don't know for sure as you didn't post a pastekodi log.
