no tearing for me. i dont have hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 enabled and running the gui on 1920x1080. no tearing at all.

maybe you ask why i dont have that setting? Because all my 4k Content is 23,94 or 25 or 30fps. And i bet most of the Kodi users dont have 4k Content running on 50/60. So please do me a favour all. Dont use hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 if u look at pirated content only. And pls dont complain about tearing if you dont know what u are doing...

Set the GUI to 1920x1080 and you are fine.

no fix yet. The RPI4(Hardware) supports HDR, but the Software(Kodi, libreelec) wont support it, atm. We all have to wait for a LE release based on a a 5.X Kernel.

A Quick Solution is to buy a FTV Stick, sideload kodi and enjoy HDR Movies

please use the HDMI Port closest to the usb power jack and reboot the rpi.

iam using this case. temp during 720p/1080p is ~56 degree . 4k ~ 64 degree. i dont use hdmi_enable_4k = 1 since i dont need 4k@50/60.

i also applied the firmware follwing this steps.

u guys use hdmi port 0 on pi? The one closest to the USB-C port.

i think u can put a file called ssh on the sd card to enable ssh login. At least this works on raspian. maybe it works on libreelec too.

the screenshot was taken from a clean install i did this morning with idling on the homescreen. No addons installed. i only did the initial configuration, i.e. wlan, ssh samba on. Flirc usb on usb 2.0 port. I have no idea why its writing constantly on the sd card.

the 70-80 degrees i have was on another install with artworkbeef and backup addon enabled.

same problem with a 4gb rpi4. The RPi is idling at 70C, goes up to 80 during 4k playback. Addons installed: Artwortk Beef, Backup.

I wonder why my Core and H264 is always running at 600/500Mhz.
