All boxes support CEC in some level. There are bugs but most of them usable more or less.

I had this box come for someone lately and I was really impressed with the performance, this was a totally debloated android 6.0.

wrxtasy Hello i've just received a mecool m8s pro+ (last stock with kingstone eMMC and no reset button) in which i've install both LibreELEC with SD boot and Android TV rom.

Just for my Knowledge: what is missing in "stock" Rom that avoid netflix to get 1080p (and maybe) 720p that is added in Android tv rom?

Hi all, this is my box now, a Z69 with 3/32 gig and a S905X chip.

Box is running fine with LE, latest 8.1.10 build, running from internal memory.

CEC works fine.
WIFI not tested, using wired.

No Giga ethernet unfortunately.

In the Odroid C2 under LE, I like how the in built IR receiver just works with a MCE remote. Do any of the boxes mentioned in this thread have a similar inbuilt IR receiver?

Also, theres a big price difference between, say, a Beelink for $42 and a Minix U1 for $110. Is there something in between with quality components?

I have been using only CEC hence the support is mandatory. Maybe my existing Pulse-eight USB CEC adapter can be used with any S905 box?

I don´t use standby/wakeup - my Beelink is up 24/7

CEC is working for me - play/stop/pause etc.
