[7.0.3.012l] LibreELEC 7.0 for S905/S905X

  • kszaq Thanks for your great work with this image. I'm using it on the Wetek Hub. Tried the Krypton version a couple of times, but not working as well as the Jarvis Version.

    The only problem I have is from time to time breaking sound, it simply has hickups. I don't know how to describe it better, especially on live tv. Any setting I can change or anything I can do about it? The Hub is connected directly to TV nd no passthrough is activated.

    Update: installed the Audio DSP basic addon, all strange breaks in Audio are gone, just that the Audio DSP basic addon does not stay enabled after reboot.

    You had one that suggested you actually try them yourself. Not interested in that idea?

    Having tried all the dtb's yourself, without success, indicates that the issue is NOT to do with the device tree.
    Perhaps you should upload your logs for kszaq to take a look at ;)

  • I know this is an old post, but I have recently been testing FLAC 16bit as an alternative to untouched DTS-HD MA tracks to save some space (it works great btw).

    FLAC audio (or the decoding to PCM) introduces an additional delay for me.
    The 175ms are perfect to me for bitstreaming DTS (HD) and Dolby Digital (+TrueHD) etc., but a FLAC track decoded to multichannel PCM apparently adds another 175ms (or at least something close to that).

    Is it possible to add another exception to the advancedsetings for a specific audio track type?

    Something like (pseudo:(

    <video>
    <latency>
    <delay>0</delay>
        <audio codec>
    <type>flac</type>
    <delay>175</delay>
    </refresh>
    </latency>
    </video>

    Can somebody help me with this?

    Also, the FLAC sometimes has weird distorted noise to it and a beep when it starts.
    Is there a fix for that?
    It's normally gone when I start a DD file and go back to the FLAC file...

  • What is the difference between the device tree "gxl_p212_2g_nand.dtb" and the "gxl_p212_2g.dtb"? Thanks for your help.

    How to Link #1

    S905X: Device trees for these boxes start with gxl. You can leave a tree that is already present on SD card (fresh install only) or choose one according to your RAM amount. If internal memory of your box is not visible when trying to install to internal memory, try a device tree with _nand suffix.

    With 012j you have Marshmallow, too, so there should not be any change, I guess.
