VIWX ITV player not working.

tried to play a series on ViwX ITV today but wont play.

It did ask to update to the latest Widevine which i did.

then went back to a previous widevine version and that did not work either.

On a Genric Mini PC so deceided to install a nightly version (latest) from scratch then installed the ViwX addon and ok to Widevine

Went to login but errors out and wont login.

So got the addon Data folder from another device and now i can see my list as it shows i am logged in

But still cannot play any streams.

Does any one have a working version?

There are login issues for some users for a while, it's nothing to do with LE or the widevine version. Here's the Kodi forum support thread: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=374239 - there are some suggestions to obtain cookies from a browser, but you need to read the thread.

tks. but as mention i have copied the addon data folder and i have logged in.

The problem is that if i click a show to play, it doesn't. tries to play then just stops.

according to the log, says the WIDEVINE version is not supported.

i have version 1.60 ViwX and latest Widevine. Is the addon being worked on or is it now broken

Does any one have a working version?

This could be related to an issue I had recently when all DRM content stopped playing for me after widevine updated (I don't use viwx though)

I ran the inputstream helper addon, removed widevine (maybe just reinstalling it would work?) and then re-installed widevine picking version 4.10.2830.0 instead of the latest version 4.10.2891.0

Everything has worked again for me since then.

Unfortunately, this solution no longer works. I make an appeal to developers, please take a look at this post "[Bug] widevine version 4.10.2891.0 isn´t working · Issue #1801 · xbmc/inputstream.adaptive". Unfortunately Without the new version of Inputstream, Libreelec is almost unusable.

The solution is already present on github but someone with the skills needs to compile the version for Libreelec

Stop being a drama queen and exercise some patience. We know IA changes can be disruptive but we are dependent on upstream IA developers figuring out the issue and then merging fixes to their codebase - and we've merged changes to LE within an hour of those fixes being published. The project runs on people working for $free in their spare time, alegedly for fun. You might want to recalibrate your expectations.

Stop being a drama queen???? Do you know that LE had become almost unusable? A lot of addons didn't work at all. I have written in this forum only to notified the developers responsible for compiling "ISA" for LE of the solution that had been found on Github. I have shared the test builds compiled with the latest changes with many users, so it was not for personal use. I think a bit humility would do you well.
