Am sure you will find a compatible image in these forums.
S802 is way more powerful than S805 but to unlock the full potentials you must try our Lakka.tv image you will be amazed how fluid you can play e.g N64 at 1080p

Demetris,
Do you have a link to the lakka builds. Is there a build for the MK808B+ also? I already tried to merge the lakka source with the openelec sources for the mk808b+ without succes.
I think the problem is I'm building on Arch Linux. I got now errors while building gcc. I don't know what it else can be. The recipe downloads gcc and starts building and gives an error that it expected a space somewhere in the defaults.h file.
I will try this evening on Ubuntu 16.04.
I will push images for a lot of S805 and S802 devices very soon, i will update post when done
MK808B+ is supported

Demetris, two of the patches in /packages/sysutils/lirc are broken (on beta3 and beta4) in your repo.
I've corrected them locally to be able to compile the source, but i am not 100% sure if its correct.
Check it out, if you think they are ok, i'll upload the beta4 image for the mxiii-1g (it seems to work fine as it is now anyway) ...
you don't need any patches to build from my sources
go delete /sources/lirc&http://build.libreelec.xxx/lircxxx and start compile again

Lakka Images are up!

<offtopic> Can the lakka S802 img.gz be run from SD card just like LibreElec? And do you have a board for Lakka somewhere</offtopic>
@sentry both answers are no i have only one S802 box

Lakka - The DIY retro emulation console
Edit:
Beta4b for all known S802 devices is now up in OP!
The LibreElec repo for binary addons says "unable to connect".
Is there a fix for it?

Why dont you read OP better?
Tested b4 in my M8 (square box).
Everything seems to be working well, all but DTS and Dolby that insist been converted to PCM 7.1 thought HDMI.
Something wrong with my settings (analog, pass through, all compatibility modes on)?
Choosing HDMI
Again, great build!!!
BTW, suspend seems to be working very well.

Sorry my bad, I found it, also sorry but is beta 4 the same as the final release or will that be coming soon ?
