Thoradia Add-ons

  • same issue with last medusa update. I have tried reinstall and issue persist.

    Try the following:

    - install the Locale add-on from the LibreELEC Add-ons repository

    - Re-install the Medusa add-on

    - Update Medusa

If this fixes the issue, I will add a dependency to Locale in Medusa

  • Hello guys, I'm kinda new to LibreElec. I have a small box (Mini M8S) that I want to use as a low power home media server attached to an external USB HDD. Tried Ubuntu for a while but couldn't get everything I wanted to work correctly. So now I'm giving a try to LibreElec and so far it's been better.

When I had Ubuntu, I had Sonarr and Transmission to download things automatically. Now in LibreElec I installed Sonarr addon and I tried rutorrent for the download client, both from thoradia repo. But I'm unable to setup rtorrent in Sonarr. I tried several paths for the RPC, ports... I tried to find a solution navigating through the config files but no luck so far. Can you tell me what I'm not doing correctly? At this point, after several hours trying to find information everywhere, I can have the solution right in front of me and I wouldn't realize.

    Regards.

I leave this to a rTorrent jedi (but think it has already be mentioned/solved in this thread)

    Solved!

    I installed the locale only.

    No need to reinstall Medusa

    Thanks

Indeed it was. Link if someone else has this issue in the future.

By the way, your repo is quite a time saver when setting up media servers in tiny boxes like mine. I spent like a couple of weeks researching packages for arm64 and so, if only I knew I had most of them a few clicks away sooner... Great work.

  • Has anybody successfully configure qbittorrent to use a proxy (socks5)? Is not working for me... Which one of the other clients supports a proxy?

On the other hand, could you guys share what is your configuration for torrenting anonymously? Are you running a VPN (proxy/VPN+proxy) on kodi start? Since qbittorrent service starts with the system boot, will there an elapse of time while the VPN connects that I will be exposed?

Using a socks5 proxy with qBittorrent and Deluge works fine.

    What is the problem?

My bad, sorry. I must have entered bad the password, username or something... I got it working now!

BTW, what are the recomended settings when downloading with proxy and qbittorent:

    Listening Port

Use UPnP / NAT-PMP port forwarding from my router disabled
Use different port on each startup
    enabled

    Privacy

Enable DHT (decentralized network) to find more peers disabled
Enable Peer Exchange (PeX) to find more peers disabled
Enable Local Peer Discovery to find more peers disabled
    Encryption mode: Prefer encryption
    Enable anonymous mode enabled

    is that correct?

    Thanks!

  • No idea. Google it. Add a link here if you find one.

  • Hey Struggling with Sabnzbd

It had been working perfectly on Libreelec but about 6-7 weeks ago I could no longer access it through the web interface.

It doesn't seem to be working correctly in the back ground either as it is not downloading.

I have upgraded Libreelec to 8.2.2 and the Thoradia addons to the 8.2 but it still has the same symptoms.

Couchpotato and Sickrage still work fine.

Tried to attach the log, but it keeps failing, not even sure what to do now

You could try to clear (delete, rename) rss_data.sab in /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.sabnzbd/admin/

You can reach this directory/file with smb

Logs can be found in /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.sabnzbd/logs/

  • Thanks thoradia

I renamed to rss_data.sab.old, rebooted and same issue.

    Any other ideas?

  • This looks like a configuration problem. Try to rename the service.sabnzbd directory (you will have to reconfigure sabnzbd).
