Hi guys! I installed LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.2 version nand. How do I update it to LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.3.img.gz ????
No, only if you create special android app setting environment variables.
Thank you
Can you be more explicit please ?
If we can create a script shell with the right set of environment variables (and other things ?) we can use one of the existing Android apps that execute shell scripts, hence we do not need to create any extra app.

I tryed with previous version and not working. Can you send me the dbt?
Thank you.

Create SD card installation, put on SD updatelibreelec.
Start new version from SD and ssh session to LE . Put the command: /flash/updatelibreelec
Update with latest kszaq's patches (7.0.2.008):
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.3.img.gz
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KII_Pro-7.0.2.004.3.img.gz
I just finish trying this new version, I only replace kernel* and SYSTEM* from my old install (7.0.2.004.2) by the new ones, and surprise : the multiboot option has disappear !!
Dear afl1, please redo this very useful option, I cannot live without it
Just tried the new updated build. It has a/v out of sync issue as reported in kszaq's thread.
Now I'm back to the previous build.
Thanks for your works.

Please repack for us with right dtb and give new links
At first, thanks for your work, afl1!
I have the huge video stuttering while watching LiveTV (DVB-S2) on K1 Plus with latest release. I tried both - update (replacing only system & kernel) and clean install (with DTB from previous version) - no difference.

You cannot replace kernel.img from SD card. In NAND is different version. Now if you remove SD card you box will not boot. On SD card is file kernel, copy it to NAND as kernel.img.
For upgrading is enough copy SYSTEM file. Kernel is always same version. The multiboot is still in Kodi.

Here what I do exactly:
First, I never use the NAND version of LE, my NAND contains already Android and LE is only on SDCARD.
I replace in my working SDCARD (that contains your LE 7.0.2.004.2) the kernel and SYSTEM by the ones extracted from the new img 7.0.2.004.3 (with mount -o offset=...).
because the kernel is the same, it is as if I replace only SYSTEM and SYSTEM.md5 by the new ones.
However, the LE boot correctly from SDCARD and no multiboot option in KODI
I do not see what I do wrong, I always do that for updating OE and LE, for K1 plus, RPi2 and PC.
Create SD card installation, put on SD updatelibreelec.
Start new version from SD and ssh session to LE . Put the command: /flash/updatelibreelec
what am I doing wrong
UPD: I figured out the right team /flash/installtointernal

I have make a clean install (but using the old dtb.img), and it works correctly
Thank you again afl1, please continue supporting our beloved box
git clone GitHub - afl1/LibreELEC.tv: 'Just enough OS' for Kodi
cd LibreELEC.tv
DEVICE=KII_Pro make amlpkg
I'm getting the following error when trying to build:
Makefile:18: recipe for target 'amlpkg' failed
make: *** [amlpkg] Error 1
My system recently upgraded to 16.04 LTS - not sure if that is the issue.
Updated versions:
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.4.img.gz
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KII_Pro-7.0.2.004.4.img.gz
- applied kszaq's fixes: removed hardware demux patch and added a change to allow playing very high bitrate videos.
