I confirm
I finally found reason why we are unable compile correct version. The issue is last kszaq's MM kernel. There is buggy dvb support. Switching to "full Nougat kernel preview" fixed the issue.
The latest service.tvheadend42-8.1.111a.zip ver. 4.2.2-35.
Hi afl1, I have used this build but now from scratch, by removing all networks and then adding them : it works now
Many thanks for your support

Thank you afl1 but I have no luck with this version too
No way for me to scan DVB-S.
Perhaps it's only an issue for Astra 19.2E and Hotbird 13.0E networks!
I have already scan DVB-T and DVB-S correctly in the past, with an older version of your builds, I do not remember it exactly.
Have you enabled dvb-s adapter?
There is only single tuner, any streaming on dvb-t disable dvb-s scanning.
For testing enable only dvb-s adapter.
Yes, I have disable DVB-T (to avoid any conflicts) and enable DVB-S alone, with 2 LNB Astra and Hotbird.
I'll compile tvheadend daily until I get the correct version
Again thank you
The latest TVHeadend (8.1.111 version 4.2.2) from LibreELEC repository is buggy. Use my version 4.2.1 service.tvheadend42-8.1.112.zip.
Many thanks
All adapter are visible now, DVB-T scan correctly with this version and I have all channels.
But DVB-S not scan at all, I add Astra and Hotbird Networks, and nothing begin scanning, even with "force scan" !
I have also tested the 4.3.184 version and same issues
You do most likely something wrong. There are no changes in internal DVB driver since first version. I have no issue in dvb adapters. Please, use clean installation on new SD card with TVHeadend from LibreELEC repository.
Thank you again afl1.
I have just finish doing a fresh install, and download official tvheadend : the same thing, only DVB-T adapter is found and cannot scan it, with France DVB-T network
Any other than me have the same issue with a fresh install ?
Thank you afl1 for this update.
here is my feedback on this version 8.0.2a:
1- I install from the official repository tvheadend : only DVB-T adapter is shown, and it not scan
2- I compile and install latest version of tvheadend 4.3.179 : I see all adapters, but only DVB-T scan, and no channels are listed in PVR Ciient
3- 2 freezes while installing addons.
Thank you again for your efforts.
Happy New Year!Kodi Krypton 17.0 rc2 in first post.
Happy new year afl1 and many thanks for your work
Here are 2 questions about this build:
1- Why 32bit ? It is for K1 plus and K2 pro that are 64bit machines
2- It is always compatible with aarch64 binaries (some addons in zip format I own are complied for aarch64)
Thank you again
You cannot replace kernel.img from SD card. In NAND is different version. Now if you remove SD card you box will not boot. On SD card is file kernel, copy it to NAND as kernel.img.
For upgrading is enough copy SYSTEM file. Kernel is always same version. The multiboot is still in Kodi.
I have make a clean install (but using the old dtb.img), and it works correctly
Thank you again afl1, please continue supporting our beloved box

Here what I do exactly:
First, I never use the NAND version of LE, my NAND contains already Android and LE is only on SDCARD.
I replace in my working SDCARD (that contains your LE 7.0.2.004.2) the kernel and SYSTEM by the ones extracted from the new img 7.0.2.004.3 (with mount -o offset=...).
because the kernel is the same, it is as if I replace only SYSTEM and SYSTEM.md5 by the new ones.
However, the LE boot correctly from SDCARD and no multiboot option in KODI
I do not see what I do wrong, I always do that for updating OE and LE, for K1 plus, RPi2 and PC.
Update with latest kszaq's patches (7.0.2.008):
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.3.img.gz
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KII_Pro-7.0.2.004.3.img.gz
I just finish trying this new version, I only replace kernel* and SYSTEM* from my old install (7.0.2.004.2) by the new ones, and surprise : the multiboot option has disappear !!
Dear afl1, please redo this very useful option, I cannot live without it
No, only if you create special android app setting environment variables.
Thank you
Can you be more explicit please ?
If we can create a script shell with the right set of environment variables (and other things ?) we can use one of the existing Android apps that execute shell scripts, hence we do not need to create any extra app.
Use power button on RC.
Sorry, but I think you have not understand me
The quetion is, the BOX boot exclusivly from NAND (if we do nothing de special, sush as use the toothpick trick)
If we use power button, it will switch OFF the box, and while switching it ON it will boots Android from NAND, as usual.
From within Android, can we force reboot from SDCARD, even without the toothpick trick ?
Update with latest kszaq's patches (7.0.2.008):
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.3.img.gz
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KII_Pro-7.0.2.004.3.img.gz
Thank you very match for your work
Just a question please about multiboot :
Suppose we have a new BOX not yet configured to boot from SDCARD, and we boot it directly from Android on NAND and we want, from within Android, to reboot from the SDCARD (without using the reset button).
Do you think that with an appropriate app, or a script, we can do that ?
No way at the moment to have oscam working in vitmod, I have compiled the last version with and without LibreELEC patches, but not works.
I also used mega oscam aarch64 version, no way too.
All those versions works fine in LibreELEC/tvheadend.
LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.img - SDcard version update of alex's KI Plus 7.0.2.003 with the latest fixies:
- Multichannel PCM;
- fix for aspect ratio SD and HD-lite;
- multiboot support;
- wifi driver for AP6335 (KII Pro);It should be possible run on KII Pro, it is necessary replace dtb.img with k2pro.dtb(I never tested it, pls let me know).
Thank you very match, this works great in my K1 plus (I use it with the latest tvheadend compiled from git).
What do you mean by "multiboot support" please ? we can put a menu to choise between internal Android and LE from SD ?
Excuse me for late response
Yes all working correctly except remote.
I have used tvheadend with kodi and no problemes, even the scrambled channels (with oscam addon) but some times it take a lot of time for buffering
@H0nch0
I have packaged the good remote.conf in SYSTEM file but no success.
I have give up, now I follow this project : LibreELEC
Thank you for your advices.
I am not very familiar with LE build, but while having a look at the project directories I have think that it will not be so difficult, especialy if we have already a port for a device with the same SOC (odroid c2 for example).
I have already done some tests with a projects/PI_Plus inspired from odroid c2 and some other OE project that support KI Plus, but without any success.
If a developper as kszaq or wrxtasy can make just a little guide, it will be really great.
Thank you again.
