.Net Core runtime and Emby

  • Hi awiouy :) Just after updating to Libre 9 and got this. All plugins updated and works except emby :(

Also there is no os.libreelec.tv installed in dependency list...

    Any help please ?

This should be fixed by revision 102 of the dotnet-runtime addon. See earlier posts for a temporary fix until that revision is released.

  • Hey.

Emby Version 4 is out. :-)

I submitted an addon for Emby 4.

It is separate from Emby, among other things because it breaks transcoding and Live TV.

Let me know how it works for you.

  • Hello, i have the emby Server 4 addon 9.0.100 installed on a milhouse build. I tried everything to get the updated Version 9.0.101 with the new 4.0.2.0 emby Server. How can i get that?

Do i have to uninstall and install again? Sorry If this is not the right place to ask, but i could not find any Information about this elsewhere. Thank you.

  • I am trying emby first time, server works great. But can it be used as multimedia player on libreelec? I can't find the emby add-on after installed, just FFmpeg and .Net Core.

There is an addon called Embycon that lets you access your library from a plugin, or you can use Emby for Kodi (seperate repo needed) to get your library in the Kodi library.

  • hi.

Will the emby4 addon be getting updated in the repo as i have just installed it and when logging into dashboard it tells me a update is available.

    Thanks

  • LibreELEC 9.2 ships the latest stable release of Emby 4 (4.2.1.0). LibreELEC 9.0 ships a slightly earlier release, which will unlikely be updated.

I will provide code to update Emby 4 to a user specified version, probably late next week.
