My x4500h has a setting in HDMI to disable all picture changing features. I can look for the exact option when I am home.

On my side my NUCP7JYH is connected to a Asus screen through HDMI (only I have HDMI "multiplexer").

I have an amplifier but it's a Tangent Ampster BT connected through optical so I think it's not related...

Before buying the NUC I used an old Zotac Zbox AD-06 and never had any issue like that with it...

I'm not alone with this issue. In kodi.tv forum are other people with this error.

Ok so if I understood correctly it is a driver issue. Only solution seems to add specific kernel parameter and modify a config file.

The issue is with libreelec we can't modify the kernel parameters at bootup without recompiling the kernel...am I right?

I'm not that a expert, I only have a little bit of knowledge on linux: all my home PCs are linux PCs but I'm not a power user...

For me only somebody that work on libreelec code can help if we want to fix the issue before intel releases a kernel patch for those GPUs...

driver options should also work (in a ssh terminal)

Ok I tried first just creating the driver option file and it didn't work.

I then tried directly puting the option in the syslinux.conf...and it killed my libreelec (no conf was saved: reeboot of the config each time I rebooted the PC). No luck either it didn't work I still have the glitch...

i stil have The red Lins on top

I am having the same problem, been trying all sorts of suggested tricks but nothing fixed it.

What i notice is that we all have an Intel J5005 processor, i guess it can be related to the specific processor meaning only an update for motherboard bios COULD fix this problem. Maybe we should ask at motherboard manufacturer support... But i m not expecting miracles

I actually updated to the 9.0.1 MR yesterday evening and I didn't noticed the glitch.

I watched a 2 hours movie and just navigated a little bit inside Kodi interface for 5 minutes...so I will test again when I will be back home and confirm that it solved the problem this evening...but maybe kernel 4.19.23 solves the issue.

I will keep you udpated.
