This is a security release for the SQLite problem Magellan - Tencent Blade Team

BUT be careful the bump for SQLite is quiet big from 3.15.2 to 3.26.0.

Can someone please tell me which built I need to install on j5005 as I am a newbie and although I tried to figure it out there are so many versions at the download site that I can not understand which I need.

So I downloaded LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-sky42-8.2.5-3.5-#181220.img.gz loaded it on a usb disk using LibreELEC.USB-SD.Creator.Win32.exe but for some reason it doesn't boot (I did it twice and noting...). Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do anything else to make it bootable?

And lastly, will it upgrade the LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2.5-6.42.3-4.18.1.img.gz (I found this in my download folder so it's most likely the one installed) version I had on or perform a clean install???

You need to setup the Bootorder in the bios.

I did that and nothing happened...

I also tried F11 which gives a choice where to boot from and chose usb but still nothing...

I don't know....

costasx sorry that you have trouble. I just dusted of and connected my Haswell NUC to my new setup and tested with LE SD/USB Creator and LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-sky42-8.2.5-3.5-#181220.img.gz and it boots for me in Bios and UEFI mode.

For a update from 8.2.5-6.42.3 you dont need to boot from a USB stick. Just boot the LE and put a update tar file in the update folder and reboot. Take this libreelec-generic.x86_64-sky42-8.2.5-3.5-#190117.tar one (i will write the release post shortly).

This should work for you Update LibreELEC [LibreELEC.wiki]

I have an Intel Nuc 7PJYH with a J5005 processor. I have installed version 8.2.5-6.4. Unfortunately I have artifacts in the upper screen area, but only in the menu. When i play a video everything is fine. Does the problem still have someone?

I tried the version today, as well as the last millhouse build. No improvement. But it is apparently on my av receiver(Denon x1300w)
I have attached the Nuc directly to the TV
And There are no artifacts. Every other hdmi device works without problems with the receiver.

Oh that is bad. Any firmware Updates for your Denon x1300w? And you can try disable all OSD like showing volume when you change it or other picture changing features of the denon, so that is does passthrough for the picture and don't touch it.

My x4500h has a setting in HDMI to disable all picture changing features. I can look for the exact option when I am home.

No updates until now. Why is that only in the kodi menu but not in the playback of movies? Is this a problem with the drivers in libreelec? I'll see if I can disable the OSD afterwards.

I'm not allone with the Problem .See Post #5063
