I struggled with this for a long time back when I used MythTV as a backend because MythTV uses a weird file naming scheme. When I switched to TvH things got much simpler since the filenames are configurable.
Setup your recording folders in TvH as Samba (or NFS) shares and add those as sources. They will act just like any local video source that way.
I never could figure out exactly how the Kodi PVR recordings abstraction worked as a source and TvH has allowed me to dispense with that nonsense.

There is a change in Leia beta that affects timeshift in pvr addons. I notice that many of the pvr binarys have not been updated in over 2 weeks and I know pvr.mythtv in particular pushed code about a week ago to address.
When can we expect the binary addons to be updated?

Looks like you put the file in "/storage". Either go into file manager in kodi settings and add "/storage" as a file source so it shows up in the file dialog OR just put the file in "/storage/.kodi/userdata/" which should already be a source.

You guys need to take that non-working tool down and put up ISOs and instructions for doing things with ISOs.
I suggest you learn to write disk images to SD/USB manually before you judge the effectiveness of a tool that does it for you. A little education goes a long way.

I wonder is it possible to include the new Tanix LCD driver into this kszaq build?

Is your box a 1GB or 2GB? Sounds like you used the wrong device tree.

Seems to be too much -101-, perhaps questions and 'how to' should split off into another thread so that the developer doesnt have to read thru endless noise of already answered questions. Others can then pick up the support.
This has been re-iterated ad infinitum. Instructions for how to report bugs are mentioned at least 287,326,589 times in this thread alone.

(Libreelec and internal android 7.1 still not recognizing wired network)
If your Ethernet is not working in Android, then your problem is not likely to be solved with LibreElec. The most likely cause is local network issue or hardware failure.

How do I solve this ? Thank you!
Follow the "Don't panic" instructions from Page 1.

OpenVPN is part of LibreElec and is used to connect to your VPN of choice. It can be manually configured, but I would suggest you use VPN Manager plugin for Kodi to get it setup and working. See THIS THREAD

gxl_p212_2g.dtb, renamed to dtb.img
Don't rename the dtb file.

Hi guys,
I found it the chipset is a RTL8189ETV. how to disable the power management ?
I have no idea if this is the proper way or even the correct driver, maybe someone with that chipset can chime in. But you can try this:
Create file - /storage/.config/modprobe.d/8189es.conf
Put this in it - options 8189es rtw_power_mgnt=0
AFAIK this should be set by default, so it may very well be barking up the wrong tree.

I have in all version the same problem... After 20 mn the wifi hangs and I have to reboot my box. if I stream a movie I have no problem with the wifi.
when I don't use my box the wifi hangs
After you find out what chipset/driver you have, look into disabling power management for your wifi.
