Wondering why the xbox one controller works on SX05RE v1.6 but doesn't on any of the other s905x builds?? Or am I missing something?????

I include a patch in Sx05RE to make it work.
LibreELEC.tv/xbox-one-support.patch at Sx05RE · shantigilbert/LibreELEC.tv · GitHubif you include this on another build and compile it, it should work.

I don't understand how this patch is applied, you have it in the default patches folder which only applies to the mainline kernel but s905 devices use the amlogic-3.14 kernel.

You are right, that is not the correct patch for the s905, I was at work when I dig up the URL.
This is the correct one.

Since version 8.0.0a my builds supports Xbox One joystick. Try to install my latest build.
I have to ask kszaq to include patch zz-xbox.patch in his kernel builds.
