I think I could use channel 136 in LE before upgrading the box to android 7.1.

    What can I try?

  • It depends :)

I bought three boxes - see signature

In my case is S912 box the best choice, but what is Your case ?

Thanks! It's not for me but I have been asked by some friends which one is best right now and I'm not sure. I'm really happy with my S905X but I'm not sure if there's anything better by now. I suppose there is, since it's a somewhat old soc. Anyway, I'll discuss it in the appropriate thread.

  • I've read OP's warning so I've been telling them no but I read the buying guide post and it says the issues were fixed.

The issues are still present but there are workarounds that make S912 work much better. My recommendation to not buy S912 for LE is still valid.

  • Hello everyone,

I have a issue with my friend's Beelink G1 (not ultimate) S912 box. The device is with 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and 1Gigb Ethernet adapter. I run this build and everything works great except the Ethernet port. I've tried all devices tree, even and default one as I tried to delete it from the SD card with the same unsuccessful result. I saw that nobody has the same problem with this box. I'll be very happy if someone knows where the problem is.

Thanks in advance and good day to you guys. :)

  • LibreELEC "is" Kodi

to update kodi download the newer LibreELEC version, either tar or gz.img & copy to the update folder on the device, then reboot.

I have version 8.1.10 on my H96 Pro + now and only want to update tot the newest 8.2.1.1 version with Krypton 17.6.

I want to keep all my addons and settings.

On my ipad I can acces the update folder by using samba on Filebrowser (LibreElec/Update)

Do I only have to unzip the gz.img folder and copy/paste that file in the Update folder and then reboot the device?

I even could do this on an Ipad.

Can you downgrade on the same way?

  • kszaq, I have a problem with the LAN connection on my Beelink GT1. The Wi-Fi works fine but it doesn't work with cable.

I use version 8.2.1.1 with default .dtb

I have also tried with gxm_q200_1g.dtb , gxm_q200_2.dtb, gxm_q200_3g.dtb and it only worked with q200_1g again with no cable connection, only Wi-Fi.

Do you think using an older version could solve the issue with the cable?

Also using Beelink GT1(not ultimate). Everything works out for me regarding ethernet. Using dtb for gigabit & 2gb ram. Have you put it in the root of sd card? deleted the old one and renamed the new? everything is in the quide. Once again kszaq you rock man!

  • Off topic, do you know if I can boot LibreElec from USB flash drive to Wetek Play 1? Official image or yours (if you have one).

As far as I know, it's possible only with SD card.
