Tuner does not lock with atsc, with dvbc it does

  • Hi

Sorry for the newbie Q, but what addon do I need to use to access the DVBT tuner config and scan channels? I did install TVendhead and PVR from the first page. One is just a service and the other is the PVR client. But where is the tuner config addon?

    Thanks

Edit: OK I understand that what I'm looking for is the Backend interface. I did find a Libreelec addon called VDR Config

I tried to use it. Selected DVB-T and my country. Then started the scan. It did indentify the built in tuner as AVailink avl6862, but after a full scan it did not find any channels. The tuner works fine ubder Android.

    What am I missing here?

You do not setup the TVHeadEnd server under LibreELEC. You set it up through a browser at IP address:9981. Please read the following:

  • Under Options - Group there is only one option - "All Channels". Is it planned to have another option to group under the individual satellite/terrestrial groups ?
That would be a 'nice to have'

  • I have found more channel dvbt and dvb-s with v113 than v114.
Dvbt 650mhz orf I was not able to scan with v114, but with v113 works.
in Dvb-t missed 4 channels of 118 from 650Mhz mux with "f" firmware and v114, I uninstalled v114 and installed v113 and 650Mhz MUX works, too.
In dvb-s missed 30 channels with 114 tvheadend, too.

  • In v113 is tuner sharing fix, it use same scanning data.

Same scanning data as what version ?
There must still some bugs in TVH as it has errors scanning some transponders. For example scanning 3900H on Intelsat 19C always comes back as a FAIL. Same for 4146V.
I plan to post an updated version of TVH with extended_cw soon (if there is any interest).
