LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20220213-fcba5db is restarting every 20 seconds

  • I tried the recent nightly LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20220213-fcba5db and notice it's rebooting every 20s or so.

I've Upgraded to previous nightly 20220212 in order to see logs but that to crashed also and has gone into safe mode. I'll paste the log.

    Update 15 Feb 2022

    I just updated to LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20220215-8a018bd from LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20220212-d203600.

    I'm seeing similar to LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20220213-fcba5db.

Kodi is rebooting every minute or so and eventually going into safe mode.

I've pasted another log link here. http://ix.io/3PDH

    but

    1. what is in that autostart.sh ? [1]

    2. try without argononed.service and/or autostart.sh

    Edit:

[1] found the thread "Argon One Fan Control", but TL/DR

I wonder why a service additionally needs a autostart.sh file doing similar things as the service already does.

in other words: shouldn't the service and a config [2] file be enough ?

    Re ArgonOne

Probably remnants of the many attempts to get it working. It's never been a problem put fair call. I'll disable it.

OK is this an SSH command line or do I need to edit a file on the RPi or a file in the tar upgrade file? I'm willing to learn but it might be easier to burn to a SD drive.

I have none of the params before "boot=UUID..."

Those parameters "coherent... " are injected by the Pi boot loader based on config.txt settings, and then it takes cmdline.txt and appends it when bootstrapping the kernel. So it's normal for a Pi 4.

Also the Unknown kernel command line parameters is harmless, it is used by the init script in the initrd to mount the disks (the "user space"). This is where $boot is used to mount the /flash partition, just below that there is mount_storage function where $disk is used:

OK, I made the changes to config.txt but did not see anything other than bootid etc. in the Cmdline.txt file. I downloaded the latest nightly. LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20220215-8a018bd.tar and tried an update. It looked OK for a while then kodi rebooted a few times before going into safemode.
