You need only the LE toolchain, compile the full LE not is neeed.

To compile one addon just put the files is the correct path inside a LE and create it

PROJECT=S905 ARCH=aarch64 ./scripts/create_addon youraddon

I'm also trying to figure this out.

And what's the project name for s905?
how different make full libreelec image and make just add-on?

AFAIK, Transmission is provided as an add-on in LibreELEC.

It's so stupid of LE to say they don't want torrent addons, but are OK with subtitles addons in Kodi. It's almost the same thing.

A subtitle isn't illegal, but can be used with video files that are (and maybe subtitles are illegal in some countries). To use torrents isn't illegal, but a great way to share all kind of files..

Anyway, thanks for the addons and the help with the incomplete dirs. =)

I think he means my 7.0.2.009 build. It's based on LE 7.0 code.

if you provide me with the source of your build, I could try to port the add-ons.
packages/addons should be up to date with upstream libreelec-7.0, especially mono, system-tools and their dependencies
