7.0.2.009 build for S905/S905X

  • I'm afraid there's no manual. :( You have to look at kernel source code and play with the parameters to see the results.

Thank you...sadly I don't have such knowledge to decypher kernel source code...for many parameters, when I try to change the number inside parameter file from ssh or nano, it saves OK, but it reverts to default number as soon as I play a video...

  • I see no one seems to have any bluetooth problem, as the only problems I see here seem to be related to audio which works very smoothly on my side.

Does the BT problem occurs only on the Wetek Hub ?

  • Geremia 24p works fine for me on S905X. Please post link to a sample that causes issues for you.

Found the issue (which seems to be kodi related?), if i set kodi interface resolution to any interlaced resolution (50i, 60i) then the auto framerate doesn't switch to 24p, instead it choose 60i with 2:3 pulldown

    Code
    21:44:50 T:546546381024  NOTICE:  fps: 23.976024, pwidth: 1920, pheight: 1040, dwidth: 1920, dheight: 1040
    21:44:50 T:546546381024   DEBUG: OutputPicture - change configuration. 1920x1040. framerate: 23.98. format: BYPASS
    21:44:50 T:546546381024   DEBUG: Resolution 1920x1080 @ 50.00i - Full Screen (16) not a very good match for fps 23.976 (weight: 0.043), trying 2:3 cadence
    21:44:50 T:546546381024  NOTICE: Display resolution ADJUST : 1920x1080 @ 60.00i - Full Screen (17) (weight: 0.001)

If kodi interface is set to any progressive resolution, the auto refresh rate finds the correct nearest best resolution 24p

  • Did you create the file using a Windows editor, with the Samba share ?

If so, can you login with a SSH client, and issue a "dos2unix /storage/.config/autostart.sh" ?

I'm not sure I follow you.
I created the file on Windows notepad++
I then copied it to the storage/.Configs folder using a usb.

    I then rebooted.
    [hr]

    Did you execute
    chmod ugo+x ./autostart.sh

Do I execute this command via ssh?
Do I have to do this every time I restart?

  • Notepad++ is fine, it handles CR/LF fine.

To run the chmod command (once), you have to login via SSH (root / libreelec).

  • Fix for non-working BT in WH coming in next build.

Can you tell whether you had stuttering in .007 or .008?

stuttering is on .008 as well, can't get .007 to load as getting can't mount tty job error message. Weird thing is my Nexbox A95X is working great, the problem is only on my new box a droibox ares (rebadged T95X I think)

Are you using WiFi or Ethernet?

  • For those who love testing new builds I have uploaded one with the following changes:

    Download from: 2016-11-13 2016-11-14
You have to use device tree from 7.0.2.009 bulid if you update from 7.0.2.008 or older.

  • I experienced a similar problem, because I did not copy the dtb file into the kodi '.update' folder when I loaded the img.gz file. Once I used the dtb file, the problem was corrected. Is it possible the dtb image was not loaded (or maybe an incorrect one??)

I guess it is possible, but I did put both dtb and img.gz into the update folder. I chose the correct dtb for my box. The audio has been out of sync with .008 and now .009. I think I'll give 7.90 a shot and see how that works out.
