  • There is a way to update with CvH script but my adjustment to work with emby4 ;)

    shh into LE and type

    Code
    wget -O /storage/.kodi/addons/service.emby4/bin/emby-update https://od.lk/s/OF8xNjAwNjI1MDdf/emby-update

Reboot and then emby-update from ssh again :)

Have you seen this before when you quoted ? Reboot and type emby-update ;)

  • hi there awiouy i have been having this issue for a while. When my server restarts when it goes back into libreelec Emby 4 wont start only workaround i got was to disable the plugin and reenable it and then it starts up for some reason. Can u maybe tell me where i can get the log files for you. I have already updated dotnet & the services of emby4 as specified in your previous post.

The link is dead and giving a 403 error.

  • Im having a issue updating.

I downloaded the file to the bin directory.

When i try to run emby-update i get a error

    LibreELEC:~/.kodi/addons/service.emby4/bin # emby-update

    -sh: emby-update: not found

    but the file is there

    LibreELEC:~/.kodi/addons/service.emby4/bin # ls

    emby4.start emby-update

    any ideas?

  • Check if emby-update is in DOS format. If so, use dos2unix to convert and try again

  • Did you reboot your server ? ;)

There is mistake in download link it should be:

    wget -O /storage/.kodi/addons/service.emby4/bin/emby-update https://bit.ly/emby-update

edit: Just tried it now and you were right. Something was wrong with this file but fixed it already.

    Redownload, reboot and emby-update :)

  • Would anyone know how to update the tools.ffmpeg-tools? My setup is working well except when I try to transcode it freezes on the client after a few seconds.

I have updated emby to the latest version using the emby-update script (thanks!), but it doesn't update FFmpeg and wondering if I can somehow update that for troubleshooting.
