Hi everyone.

First, Thanks to knaerzche and everyone who has collaborated in this project, it allows us to use kodi in Tv boxes with a fast and nice interface.

I need help

I have a problem building LibreElec, I am getting this error message.

(Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) I am using this code:

git clone https://github.com/knaerzche/LibreELEC.tv.git
cd LibreELEC.tv
git checkout libreelec-9.2
PROJECT=Rockchip DEVICE=RK322x ARCH=arm UBOOT_SYSTEM=rk3228a-mxq4kpro make image

I would be very grateful if someone can help me.

following are the specs.

unable to understand what is my box actually as when I boot It shows S905 Amlogic and CPUz and the chipset shows something else.

The board is clearly a dusty rk322x board. r329q boards are well known out there.

Yamibuu, I tried building this same image mxq4kpro, and what I did was to change the file

/´'path_to_your_src'/http://LibreELEC.tv/packages/tools/rkbin/package.mk

from the libreelec-9.2 branch with the same file from master branch, and it worked.

As far as to know, the weather addon (yahoo) is broken, and I was getting green screen when playing back video, and changing in System-Player-Video-Prime Render - Direct to Plane, and HDMI Output to Ycbcr4:4:4.

Everything else I use seems to be ok.

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 on a virtual machine (VirtualBox) on Win10

I own a unit with faked specs, really ugly. What I found out:

RK3228A

Mouser wifi chip

LPDDR 3 (1G)

8 GB Rom

I know there are even several Android 9 boxes which supposed to be equipped with RK3228A soc but all DDR3 .....

First, and foremost, kudos and infinite thanks to knaerzche for this libreelec. I bought a Mitzu (that's the outside brand) years ago, and it was a piece of crap. Unusable.

But with this img I was able to revive it. I installed Jellyfin and I can see my movie collection in a big screen. Just priceless.

The thing is that i cannot install any other add-on, not netflix, not aptoide ---I want it just for Stremio---, not ares wizard, not hbo (those are the most important add-ons from me right now).

My board is a R329Q v 3.1, with rk3229.

The img I used was LibreELEC-RK322x.arm-9.80-devel-20200228171244-cd590c7-rk3229-box.img.gz (no other booted, not even one from the legacy 9.2).

I tried the files, only the mxq4k and A8 files work, but no wifi?

How can I build one just for me and have wifi.

I'm new to libreelec, but I'm pretty versed in linux, can you guide me how to make it?

it's strange because I have a box with the same wifi chip and the image for the a8 works without problems.

However, I advise you to use an external wifi card.

In my case the integrated wifi works badly, because the box heats up a lot and the internal components after a while lower the performance.

make sure your system is ready for build and then launch this command (for example)

and if the build is ok, under /target you will find the image produced.

I saw this code on github, but if I run this code it will also build the same file as the original author's file.

I have installed armbian and wifi works perfectly

if you build legacy images with the legacy kernel (4.4) the driver for SSV6051 is built by default for the supported box mentioned in the first post (including a8).

Assuming you have already checked the kernel logs, try to decompile the device tree blob of your image.

The one for a8 has this

You should try LibreELEC-RK322x.arm-9.2-devel-20200427213418-b7186bc-rk3228b-mk809iv.img.gz. My box is same your and success with this fw.

Are there anywhere images Kodi 18 or 19 that have the latest wildvine fixes for my MXR 4K - with RK3229-2 chip ??

I have been successfully using a build made by user Iilich that was based on the Alphaboard A8 build from Knaerche.

(untill now wildvine got screwed up)

Anyone have any builds I can test ??
