What s905 devices work without issues?

MINI MX-G (MINI MX ver 1.0 2GB/16GB)

Beelink MiniMX III 2GB/16GB is now working very well for me with 7.0.2.007.

Hopefully all S905/X users will post here so those of us yet to make the leap can choose a box with, some degree of, confidence!

I'm holding back because I'm really poor at the mo, but this will probably work out for me as the longer I wait the greater the number of boxes I can choose from! The Wetek Hub will always be my first choice but it's two or three times the price of other boxes but does have full support from the manufacturer.

I am interested in a S905 device too.

I need this:

- 4K resolution.
- CEC support for TV power on/off.
- Suspend and resume from a generic USB IR receiver.

Anyone could have a device that handle this?

Yeah suspend wont work with usb ir, you probably can set it to suspend but won't be able to wake it since the usb port won't have power.

Can you wake from suspend anyway (even using the built-in IR receiver) without using the original remote's power key? It's not something I've ever tried.

I use this remote: sapphire_remote

There is a add-on to get full feature as long press.

Well apparently even the wifi reconnecting issues after suspend seem to be fixed (for some?!).

Although i am not completely sure about the remote...
The way i read envagyok's post here LibreELEC, he seems to be able to return from suspend via remote.

The question i have is, which good alternative is there at the moment for the MiniMX's, cause those seem to be sold out everywhere locally here.

Its fixed supposedly in the lastest devl build. I myself just remapped the power key to the kodi power menu, to avoid accidental key presses and coz suspend was broken in pre 007 and never bothered since.

Beelink seems to be well supported such as the MiniMXIII (s905) not MXII II (S905X).

CEC works okay but depends on the TV, also kszaq has added improvements to cec in the latest devl release which i have tried yet.
