Status of NanoPC-T4 (RK3399)

    5. Add Index of / as installation path in the file manager.

    6. install the ZIP repository.emby.kodi-1.0.6.zip via Add-Ons.

I tested another installation option, I did not use the 5 and 6 step. I don't add third-party repositories. Immediately chose the search for addon EMBY and put the found versions with dependencies (they will be correct, because collected with a new version of KODI and Python3). Everything is installed without errors.

With me he finds only EMBYCON and not EMBY, these are different AddOns.

But maybe under KODI 19 EMBY is now in an official repo.

I'll test it again tomorrow and tell you.

    Many thanks balbes150

NanoPC-T4 with LibreELEC, EMBY and TVHeadend Client, 9.2.0
Odroid-N2 with CoreELEC, EMBY and TVHeadend Client, 9.2.1

NAS with EMBY Server, TVHeadend Server

  • So is there not a .img file lIBREeLEC for the M4 that is all complete and tested that is 9 yet? The one on Rockchip – LibreELEC PINE64 RockPro64

    LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-9.2.0-rockpro64.img.gz won't load. I don't know why.

The legacy one PINE64 RockPro64 LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-8.90.015-rockpro64.img.gz works fine.

Any ideas? I don't know what (if any) benefit the 9 has over that 8 that the M4 would benefit from.

Friendly Arm has downloads here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nfyaz8mnfjuoxtk6gzpxvhyrdyqktjfc

But I don't find any that are the LibreElec? Anyone know the right one to load?

    Thank you.

This image is for another model. Its launch before (without additional settings), you can consider a lucky coincidence. You can try changing the settings and check the startup to M4.

There are several options for LE images that you may be able to run on try your M4. See this topic, earlier posts. There is information on how to configure and verify the launch of LE on the T4 (this principle is suitable for tuning and M4). There is no guarantee that this will work for you.

Ok. I will just use the 8 then. Thank you.

  • Ok. I guess it's not that complicated. I installed 9.2.0 (official) on nano Pi M4. Just needed to find the right version.

I used: LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-9.2.0-rockpro64.img from LibreElec and any current rk3399-rockpro64.dtb to fix the WiFi appears to work.

    Thanks.

  • This thread had links to a version for Kodi 18 that seemed stable on the NanoPC-T4. All of those links are now broken... What's the latest KODI 18 image that is recommended for use?

I use the RockPro64 image from here Rockchip – LibreELEC with dtb from balbes150 to enable BT, Ethernet & WiFi.

  • Have anyone tested the newly released Stable Beta for T4 from Rockchip – LibreELEC

    I just installed LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-9.95.1-nanopc-t4.img.gz. I works fine.

What I tested: wired network, HDMI output, using PlexKodiConnect to sync my library and watch some stuff.

CEC doesn't work and I it would be nice if the installer could somehow copy the system to the integrated eMMC storage so I wouldn't have to keep the sd-card in the system.

I didn't test anything else. Are there particular things I should check?
