So, how many years do we have to wait till we get the same TV experience with a rpi 4 than with the very very very old s905 boxes?

I mean, mpeg2 is even older and still used for many many many tv channels.

How is it now, nearly 1 year later?

They said its fixed in v19 (Sync Playback to Display doesn't do 23.976 to 24 at 60hz anymore (Leia RC)) but it still doesnt work.

24p on 50hz but still the 1x per second jerk.

Is 1Gb enough? On my S905 Box i have 23% usage (413MB from 1814MB) while running DVBViewer PVR with 4k 60fps TV Channel.

LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.0.2.img doesnt start on my HP t530 32GB Win10iot Device.

I start it from an USB Stick via Boot menu and no matter if i use UEFI or Legacy Boot Mode it crashes.

HP t530 BIOS Settings:

On initial boot Network/Connections the Wired Device is missing on Nexbox A95X.

After reboot it is there.

I set it to manual, enter something but when i hit save it disappears again.

I have to make some stuff with the box like switching usb ports, changing dtbs, connecting disconnecting usb keabord and for some reason then it works.

Is this the Future of Computer?

EDIT: Now it doesnt reboot.

Its always the same with every build i tested.

several reboots and tries to save manual wired network.

then it doesnt reboot.

restarting box and then i can save network settings.

installing dvbviewer addon from coreelec repo.

changing channels video often starts freezed for 10 seconds and then it runs.

It also happens with other pvr addons.

why isnt it fixed yet?

i mean this version is called "stable".

and overall this is the only bug i have with 8.2.3.1.

Nope, ist not stable.

I tried it with several 8.x builds and alexelec and on all it is the same problem.

when i start "deluxe music sd" on european astra satellite and then i cycle through the miniepg channel list with the up/down button and after some seconds box freezes and 30 seconds later it just reboots.

Settings/PVR & Live TV/Playback "Confirm channel switches by pressing "OK" is ENABLED so it doesnt switch to the channel!

Is the addon damaged?

I dont have this with coreelec but since coreelec isnt stable i want to go back to a 8.x build but with this problem now ...
