  • That error has been around for a long time. I recall seeing an explanation before, but the gist is that it's benign and expected. If you check your logs you will see it uses libamcodec instead of libamplayer.

  • The error is expected and nothing to worry about. Libamplayer.so is a legacy lib not used for the most recent Amlogic devices. The error line is now removed for Kodi v18, I can backport the patch for your peace of mind. ;)

  • If you check your logs you will see it uses libamcodec instead of libamplayer.

I saw that and thought that was the problem with Playback. Obvious now that is not the cause.

Stream resolves and plays the start for 3 to 5 seconds and then stops with a kickout.

The log i posted above from Line 1784 to 1826 is where i see the issue.

I’m out of my depth in interpreting why the stream cannot continue playing.

Hope someone can explain what is causing this playback issue.

Not sure this is my playback issue with these Greek Live Channels.

Jarvis 7.0.3.012j no issues is what's bugging me.

  • kostaman Please try updating to the latest build. There were some experimental changes in previous Krypton builds that may have caused playback errors and were resolved in 8.0.1l.

  • Still happening with all updates to 8.0.1l

    I just Updated to 8.0.2a (2017-05-28) as i was using 8.0.1l

Same issues 4 seconds into playing livestream and a Kickout.

I've been updating since first Krypton release and this issue has been there from day 1 and continued with all Krypton releases.

Sorry for a wild stab at below snippet of my original posted log. It's like the stream is disrupted by a loss of sync.

Your first log was from 8.0.1c, that's why I recommended an update.

I've been updating since first Krypton release and this issue has been there from day 1 and continued with all Krypton releases.

If the same thing happens with SW decoding and on other platforms (Windows, Mac), this is an issue that needs to be reported upstream.

Please always post a full log.

    Software Decoding same issue.

Turn Off Adjust Refresh Rate same issue

Issue to be reported upstream ?? Pardon my not understanding.

On my Mac same issue. Please Note my MacBook"s GPU NVIDIA GeForce 320M has Krypton Known Hardware Issues and i am running a TEST Build based on master/leia. Kodi Community Forum. The result is identical to LE .

I just clean Installed 8.0.2a and took Debug Log attached.

If you can reproduce the issue on other targets this means the issue is in Kodi and/or add-on. Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to fix it. Maybe there is someone on this forum that might be able to help you but you'll more likely to have the issue fixed if it's reported on Kodi forum and/or to addon author.

    Thank you kszaq.

The Author could not identify issue with my logs and i have eliminated Libamplayer.so error being the cause.

I can confirm the issue is noticed in Android system as well - checked on Kodi 17.1 and 17.3 both

It works fine on Android Kodi 16.1

I have opened a New Thread under Video Support on The Official Kodi Forum.

Mick84 You may want to report your issue using Android.

Thank You for looking kszaq. I've finally got to the bottom of this with the Author. Damn Youtube Version was also the issue in Krypton.

I have marked this as solved.

    Updated to AliveGR 0.8.26 and

    YouTube

    Version 5.3.12

    Fixed Playback issues.
