Changing boot screen

I have installed the latest build of libreelec 8 on a nexbox a95x with a s905x chip. Everything is working great. I want to customize it a bit. Is it possible to change the libreelec and kodi boot screens?

I forget how to do the Kodi one, but ^ that does the LE boot splash.

Thanks. Do these commands work if I haven't installed to internal? Im running off of my micro sd card. I will probably install to internal if everything continues to work correctly. And im assuming i put my boot pic in the storage directory, then use these ssh commands? Ill be honest, I have never used ssh before.

Ok so i have tried to connect to my box using puttty. I double checked to be sure that i have ssh enabled and am using the right ip address. But when the "login as:" comes up and i type in "root" i get an error that says "disconnected: no supported authentication methods available (server sent: publickey, keyboard-interactive).

What ami doing wrong?

Just make sure that you have enabled SSH access from Libreelec settings.

It sounds like you enabled "disable password auth" in the SSH section of LE settings. This won't disable the login prompt but will prevent the default root/libreelec password combo from being used (only SSH key-auth works).

Is it just me or the boot is really faster if I put the oemsplash.png?

There is no android (S905X) logo and no Kodi logo if I put it and the box starts about 17 seconds now.

Where can I find the original LE logo?

The original logo is in the initial ramdisk embedded in the kernel.

Good friends, I installed libreelec 8.2 in tvbox mxq, when I turn on the black screen is left and I do not see the welcome screen of libreelec, I only have black screen until the Kodi 17.6 comes out and everything works perfectly. Try changing it with

monte -o ski lift, rw / flash.

But I'm still the same. Has anyone had the same?

It's possible that the refresh rate and colour depth being used by the splash disagrees with your TV and so it shows a black screen. As long as Kodi starts okay there's nothing to really care about.
