You should have created a *new* thread as it's not related to the title.
Luckily I have a Lenovo media stick 300, which has booted LE 8.2.5 (I haven't tried any alpha builds yet, but they should work just as well). It's a bit of a faff (Under Windoze 10) to get it to boot from the SD card but there are plenty of websites showing how to do it.
-
Thank you. Could you please post some of those pages with manual to boot from SD? I think there is some problem with UEFI on this device?

You need to first disable Windows 10 fast boot (aka fast startup or Hiperboot).
Then goto the boot menu - F2 on restart.
Disable secure boot
Add the LE EFI file as trusted.
Reboot - F2 again, and select boot from USB
-
Bootx64.efi boot failed message if I choose boot from file. I have standard SD card created with libreelec tool. In bios there is secure boot option but only Erase all secure boot settings (disabled) and Restore secure boot to factory settings (disabled) is selectable. The rest is greyed out.
Any idea?
-
Now I added .efi from SD to trusted. If I restart and press F2 there is screen showing 0xc0000225 error
-
Maybe it needs 32bit .efi file? Please could someone help?

Maybe this is the problem?
IdeaCentre Stick 300 is powered by a Quad-core 1,83 GHz Intel Atom Z3735F. It’s a 64-bit processor, but the system can only run 32-bit operating system.
Iridium are you sure you installed LE on Lenovo 300 stick?

LE uses syslinux for 64-bit systems and GRUB for 32-bit .. specifically for dealing with these Atom devices. They can run a 64-bit OS, but they require a 32-bit bootloader.
-
Hmmm so what could be wrong? Installing on SD via LE tool choosing Intel CPU is OK?

Yes it's an Lenovo ideacentre 300. I think i used the (Something like) 32bootasm.efi.
If you're still having problems, please create a new thread (as mentioned before) as this issue is not related to the thread title.

Hey there, I recently acquired an old 1st gen Intel Compute Stick BOXSTCK1A32WFCR / STCK1A32WFC
I followed scottarr's suggestions and I was just wondering if it's possible to update Kodi to a newer version from this community build, as I don't currently see a way to do so.
Also yeah bluetooth doesn't work but I suppose it's not the end of the world.
edit// never mind, figured it out
