Hi.
Im looking for a way to backup the entire NEW setup of KODI done mutch easier on my laptop. ( win7)
and then transfer the whole setup to my X96 - S905X LE 8. device, when done modelling it just the way I want it.
is that possible ?
Setup KODI on PC (fast) and transfer to LE device

I would avoid doing this split set-up because Windows\saves\files\paths\like\this and Linux/uses/paths/like/this .. so while most config will work, there is always a percentage off stuff that will not. Unpicking the stuff that does not work usually takes longer than doing it the 'hard' way.

It can be done - I do it - but I'd agree about the amount of work involved.
It means going through everything in userdata making sure all paths are either network or special rather than local. Also binary addons can't be copied. -

I managed to do the setup on screen.
wont mix it with a Win version.
