Hope it is this: LibreELEC-Odroid_C2.aarch64-8.2.1-libcec-3953f8d.img.gz
I just installed this as the official one was not working well with my LG TV (simplink), but it remained the same.
Is there something else I should try?

What was your issue with the LG?
This is supposed to solve the issue of loosing Cec after standbye/switching off or changing tv hdmi input to something else and back to LE..
I will start by checking if there are any LG software updates..I had few issues on my Philips that I tought they where LE issues like loosing audio for few seconds but where fixed with a software update..

The issues are...
The TV won't connect to the C2, aka, send the key presses to it. But Kodi display the notification of cec connection.
Then I start turning the TV on and off and changing input sources until it finally starts working, sending the key presses.
I configured the C2 to suspend when the TV turns off, but it won't suspend. The TV is configured as well.
At one very specific and odd occurrence the key presses where being sent to Kodi trippled. Go figure.
I swapped cables with my decoder and console, but that didn't work.
Doesn't sound like the same issue these builds are addressing...If you have the TV set input on Kodi and you restart your C2 does it respond? If it doesn't it's some other issue...My issue and several on this thread is that CEC works fine till Kodi goes to standbye or we change input or we switch the TV off..by changing input to something else and back to Kodi it then works....if it doesn't I don't think it's the same cec bug..
It is just cec downgraded to version 3953f8d.
Already building... Will take few hours.
Dear vpeter!
Could You please build a 8.2.5 LibreELEC with "working" libCEC for imx6.arm CPU?
Or maybe just describe the steps needed to build LibreELEC with correct libCEC version (as far as i understand mpkg_libcec just pulls the latest commit)?
ak84r: for which system? I assume cuboxi? Sure I can build it.
The step is easy: just change PKG_VERSION in file packages/devel/libcec/package.mk and build image.

Thank a lot. Yes i meant Cubox i2.
I'll try to make a build environment on my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, but Your help would be highly appreciated
Now I noticed that the situation is different for imx6 project because there is used patched libcec. So there is no easy go for changing libcec version. Sorry, no image from my side.
OK,
The i'll try to dig into sources
Hi vpeter, could you kindly build a 8.2.5 image for Odroid C2?
I'm having some problems with 8.2.1 image and GPU overclock (if I set a 752MHz clock and reboot it starts at 752 but after a while it slows down to 666MHz and 500MHz) so I'm trying to start from scratch with a new build (also, any advice for my problem?).
Thank you in advance!
Can you explain what to do actually? I'm very confused lately.

Hi, sure!
You compiled this image with a different libcec library version and it solved a problem I had (Kodi continued to turn on my TV if the Odroid was on).
I was asking if you could kindly compile an image with 8.2.5 LibreELEC release and the same libcec version.
Thank you

Do you think this fix will also work with Kodi 19?
No idea. But I can image (which one) for test (LE 9 + libcec downgraded to 3953f8d).
