It works with extern BD player. You have to point KODI to the BDMV folder and play it (works flawless). To play the disk from root will not work (it reads the stream to slow). I do not think the addon makemkvbluray (from X-Dark) is needed. Just the makemkv addon and the settings.conf (with key) file in the .MakeMKV folder. Thanks.

Does anyone had luck to activate the subtitles? You can choose them from the menu, but they will not show...
OK: Should have activated subtitles.

Can I just install the addon and expect working blu ray?

Hi,
are there any news or updates to your lib.multimedia.makemkv-8.2.0.zip?
how can I update the existing makemkv to the newest available? how did you manage this?
thanks!
I still use makemkv 8.2.0 and a settings.conf file with a license "key". That works.

Hi,
I'm using Kodi Leia v18 and also simply installed the makemkv 8.2.0 zip form esacalade. Then I added a file called settings.conf with the license key. Nothing more. But... Kodi continuously crashes after clicking the index file of a bluray disc and reboots.
If I want to do some analysts about the disc inserted by typing
makemkvcon info dev:/dev/sr0
I get this message:
makemkvcon.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.57: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
What did you do to get makemkv working? Have you done some additional steps?
Thanks in advance!
