[NOT A BUG] Power off restarts the box

    Thanks, what should I ask for exactly? Power off and suspend are working from the Android side.
    My workaround is to restart to internal and power off from Android.

    Android might not properly power off the box. To test, you can

    • measure the current the box draws when in Android "on" and "off"
    • install a server on Android and try to connect to the "off" box

    My cheap OTT box simple switches off HDMI output when I push the "off" button...

    mmpp: Unfortunately in my case when I power it off, the led in front of the box goes red for a second and then it goes back to blue and LE restarts from SD, therefore it stays in power on.
    I have reached out to the seller to see if there's a firmware upgrade.
    It's a kind of strange box what I have, I haven't seen many s905x with Wireless AC around yet.

    I have returned the NPET box and boutght a Zenbox Z11 Pro, which apparently has the same characteristics but it does turn off.
