Ok. So I've built the addons with the following modifications in the mk file:

in the mk file.

I've tested it using the PT6314 VFD display and it's working correctly. I did not test with other lcds, but the modification were tested by another lcdproc developer who made also changes for the Winstar OLED display. So I would say it's safe (or at least not less safer than previous version) to use this newer one.

So, I'm guessing that MPEG2 on the Rock64 isn't viable? Live TV from my HDHomerun boxes (MPG2) doesn't appear to be accelerated by hardware.

EDIT: I saw another post indicating that MPEG2 and VC1 weren't supported in hardware. The Rock64 is really fast though, too bad it can't do MPEG2.

I switched to the Odroid build. Looks pretty decent, but sure wish I could get passthrough audio on live streams. Is that ever coming back? PVR startup is delayed for a minute after system startup for some reason.

Is there support for the ODroid HiFi Shield Plus in any of the C2 community builds?

I found some mention of the HiFi Shield in various posts on the LE forum, including statements of it working out-of-the-box (I think) with kszaq's build. Trying both that one and raybuntu's, though, the DAC never comes up as an option for audio output. The two modules I've seen mentioned elsewhere, namely

1. snd-soc-pcm5102
2. snd-soc-odroid-dac

don't appear to be available either.
