pogo1975 I'd suggest building official tree then. I will upstream everything I can. My linux config is adjusted for mediabuild currently. Official does not use mediabuild yet.

Has anyone tested NOOBS on this build yet?

Hello,
I got a ROCK64 recently and am trying to install this build of LibreELEC on it. I'm curious what file to download though and how to install it, since I don't see any instructions anywhere.
Should I use the Odroid C2 img.gz file and write it to my SD card using the LibreELEC SD creator tool?
Edit: I think I'm seeing now that I need to download the latest Leia "Pre Release" build is this correct?Or should I use some other method? Also, what is the tar file for? I'm guessing that after getting it on the SD card its mostly plug and play right?

You need LibreELEC-ROCK64.arm-9.0-rb-leia15.img.gz and should write it to your SD card or eMMC.
Rock64 boards are discussed at PINE64 - ROCK64 .
See specifically, LibreELEC Krypton/Leia/Agile 64bit kernel 32bit libs .

Looking thru the github source on this I was surprised to see a number of emulators listed. Can anyone who has this installed on their ROCK64 confirm if they are included in the release, how they are accessed, and how they perform?

Thanks. At this point I really just want to know that using the LibreElec SD creator is okay to use and what the tar file is. If I need to create an account on the Rock64 forums I will, but I feel this question could be answered regardless of the device I’m using.
Edit: I’m not sure how to get my text out of your quote so I guess it’s stuck there.

I have some trouble with inputsream.adaptive. it's possible to have the latest 2.8 compiled in the repo? Many thanks in andvance for all' the works!
-
There is no 2.8 version. If you mean 2.1.8 it will be updated today.

Using the latest build, I've added all the emulators but I can't for the life of me figure out how to launch any of them... please advise.

Open a game rom using file manager and select the emulator you prefer.

Kodi 18 requires a Konami code to show the games menu. Just google it I don't remember it.

These are the values you need to adjust, then build lcdd/LibreELEC from scratch. If it fails you need to check what changed or fix some compile issues with a patch. Test your changes. If they work you can open a PR on github.
Ok, I've changed the mk file of lcdd so it should now check out a version which is supposed to have my updates. Then I've built libreelec from git, also uncommented in the scripts/image folder the part where it deletes the temporary folders (at the end of the script).
But now i cannot find where exactly is the binary built. I know it created the tar and the img files, but I see in them only the KERNEL and SYSTEM image.
I would like to take only the lcdd binary and replace it with my existing installation to see if it works. I don't want to reflash now everything, as my odroid is built in a case and it's kinda hard to take everything apart.
Any help ?

Oh Damn..
I took the example from the Kodi Wiki and I'm trying to build it with these:
So I saw that this built the 64 bit binaries..
What's the correct way to build it to be compatibile with your media_builds with 32 bit user space ? Like this:
?
