Sorry, no idea. You could disable xfs if you don't need it in the oem package.

Version 4.14 still works for me and arch builds the image fine with the recent version. Guess I have to dig a bit deeper in mint then. I dont't want to disable the package just the command xfs_scrub if it's not needed.

Hello Everyone,
I'm using Intel NUC-Kit i3-7100U 2.4GHz HD620 NUC7I3BNH for 4K 60 Hz and HD audio passthrough.
Everything worked well so far and HD audio had no errors. This weekend I watched "Behing the blue door" movie and got some noise out of my speakers.
I know there was an intel patch integrated at the end of last year, but now these error seems to be back.
When I turn off the HD sound capabilities in the settings, then the normal sound is hearable.
I switched to the newest Milhouse build......with the same error...
Right now I will try the old version from december.

Hello. Is there a chance to get Additional DVB-Drivers in your Build ?
I really like your EMU Build and it runs just fine with my J3455 Intel Board. But iam one of some Useres where the DVB-Card only runs with additional DVB-Drivers. (CRazycat Drivers only run with my DVB-Card).
I have to run This Build : LibreELEC 8.x images for additional dvb drivers
to get my DVB Card working...
Is there a chance that this dvb-driver change will also included in your LE Remix Build ? =)
greetz (and sorry for my bad english) =)

I don't own any DVB cards but send me a PR and I might include it.

Hey thx for your fast reply. What is a "PR" ?
Perhaps this helps... GitHub - CvH/LibreELEC.tv at dvb-drivers
The Image i posted in #2.383 has the option that i can choose wich DVB-Driver i want to use (wich is normaly not included in normal Builds).

It's a pull request. Basically, I asked you to put in the work yourself and I might include it. As stated I do not own any DVB equipment and have no knowledge of what's required.

have a look at GitHub - 5schatten/LibreELEC.tv: A bit more OS as just for KODI It's basically escalades LE8.2 Remix but also includes the "crazycat" dvb-addon. It should build fine on user friendly linux distros. So install VirtualBox, grab a Linux Mint image and you can test if it works for you.
I've "forked" the LE9 crazycat addon and added some fixed drivers to build with kernel 4.15.7 so maybe this helps? They won't build with kernel 4.14.x so you have to use the old media_builds packackge for RPi builds. I know there 's a PR function on git but i haven't figured out how to create one properly.

5schatten much thx. i will try it tonight when my wife sleeps °°
I will try your build with full install on my ASROCK j3455-m. (Intel Apollolake) !!! MUCH THXBut i think it fixes only for people who need Crazycat Drivers.
In the Build LibreELEC 8.x images for additional dvb drivers
there are 6 different drivers you can choose. After choosing you have to reboot.
It are : Standard/Crazycat/for Digital Devices/for Haupauge/from latest driver/TBS Official
Its choosen from Programm addon (SKRIPT) " Libreelec Moduledrivers" V 0.1.6 from Birger Jesch
I never maked a pull request.and didnt know how to make one =) Sorry iam noob =)But i hope 5schatten Post helped you.

I use the j3455-itx board myself so the basics should work out of the box. I'm uploading a more recent build right now so later some images are also ready for testing. My TechnoTrend S2-3600 works without the crazycat addon though so I can't say if it will solve your problems easily.
What brand/type of DVB cards do you use? The kernel should support many out of the box by v4l modules the crazycat addon replaced the linux_media package as far as I understand and is based on this git repo GitHub - crazycat69/linux_media: TBS linux open source drivers. If the package lacks your needed driver maybe we can add it.
CvH offered the LE82.x images with those dvb drivers and they moved them directly into the image:

5schatten (Are you German ?)
My DVB-S card is TT Budget s2-4100 . (DVB-S2)
And i also have an Haupauge WINTV-HVR 3300 for testing. Both pciE.
I test it tonight and write down my results.
-
Yes I'm from germany.
The TT S2-4100 should work because it's saa7160 based and the driver ist avaiable:
linux_media/drivers/media/pci/saa716x at latest · crazycat69/linux_media · GitHub
But I hardly doubt the HVR-3300 will (ever) work:
Re: Support for Hauppauge WinTV HVR-3300 — Linux media
Not a PR but I think thats all you need? This package builds fine with kernel 4.15.7 so i guess 4.16 could (should?) also be fine.

New avx build uploaded with 4.16-rc4, X.org 1.20-rc1, mesa 18.1-git, xf86-video-intel-git.
I wanted to try and update my previous version of this build on my AMD Raven Ridge 2400g. I did not have any luck with the modesetting driver so far and was hoping this new build might work for me.
Even though I only boot to a green screen I am able to access via samba and drop the .tar file in the update folder but I do not think it is actually updating. How hard would it be for me to create a boot image to do a fresh install with this build? (Sorry if this is a stupid question)
-
The avx build doesn't include AMD drivers. I am currently doing a rebuild with them enabled, so you may try the next build. Raven Ridge reportedly works better in 4.17 though so you may run into issues.
-
Are you able to build the citra-libretro package? Looks like they updated the submodules and now libfmt is missing? It fails to build at mint and arch so I guess you have the same problem then?
Testing newer releases right now, maybe they work fine.
Releases · libretro/citra · GitHub
EDIT: releases after canary 17 got rid of fmt fail but fails to build otherwise.
EDIT2:
https:// http://goo.gl/RwRQWx
I think deleting the b0ost root folder helps since citra downloads it's own stripped b0ost submodul:
"-DB0OST_ROOT=$(get_build_dir b0ost) \"
BTW: b o o st ist censored?!

Thank you very much, I will keep a lookout for it. Windows drivers are not very good for Raven Ridge yet either.

So we could "just" take these DC patches and fix the recent kernel ourself?
