did the atari st emulator work? If i start a game, system reboots
-
What core are you using, the one from lakka or the one from libretro buildbot?
What are the logs saying?
-
What about S912? I'm trying to use it on Libreelec KIII PRO s912 amlogic and it is not running. Is there any way to play SNES on s912?
-
Sorry this is just for generic x86_64 and raspberry pi 2/3.
You have to wait for LibreELEC 9 and Kodi's RetroPlayer.

RetroArch 1.6.7 -> updated 👌

New EmulationStation addon feature: now, you can edit es_systems.cfg file from addon settings:

Hi. I have LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0.2 freshly installed. I've installed your addon and loaded cores from setup menu of Retroarch. All went ok. Retorarch starts normaly, I see all cores in "Select core" menu. Even after selecting a core in the left down corner of the screen is "1.6.7 - No core". Then I select any ROM (I tried Nes, Snes, Sega MD and some public ROMs that Retroach providing). Retroarch asking me about what core I want to use, I select core, screen turns black for 1-2 sec, then wents back to Retroarch and gives me an error "Failed to load core". Can't provide logs right now. May be I missed something? Or there is a quick solve of my problem. Thanks in advance.

If you try downloading all core package from addon settings does them work?
I think you can fix it editing retroarch.cfg file because Generic is downloading retropie cores so they dont work... I need to fix it.
You can edit /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/game.retroarch/retroarch.cfg file and find/repace this line:
with this one:

They don't work. They appears in "Select core" menu, but doesn't work..
Then I tried to clear "cores" directory and to download cores directly from Retroarch (not from addon settings) - same situation.

I'll try it when be back home. Thanks a lot!

ok, so we need logs...
replacing the line I say, coresd downloaded from retroarch settings>online updater menu should work.
-
Works as a charm for me! A little typo - not httpS, but just http. Loaded few cores thru Online Updater - all ok. Thanks a lot!
P.S.: Am I right - loading a full core package thru addon's settings will still load a PI versions of the cores ?

No, from addon settings you should download Generic cores.

No, from addon settings you should download Generic cores.
It seems, no. I loaded full core package and got the same problem.
-
can you provide me some logs, please?
You should get this list: Gamestarter/packages/libretro-cores-Gen at master · bite-your-idols/Gamestarter · GitHub

Here it is.
Newley installed Retroarch from your repository.
Loaded full core package.
Tried to load Snes 9x2010 core.
Then tried to load some ROM.
-
Now I erased all cores from "cores" and "info" dirs.
Edited .cfg for correct core download path.
Loaded a snes 9x2010 core thru Online Updater.
And successfully started a Snes ROM.
