Libreelec 11.0.3 on Nuc7i3Bnk - Graphics Problems

  • I'm experiencing following problem:
If i try to view UHD-Programs on HD+ with VAAPI enabled there is only sound but no picture.
When VAAPI is disabled i can view stuttering picture with sound because of CPU ist going up to 300% load
The graphics is Intel HD 620 (KBL GT2).

My TV is only FullHD 1920x1080p connected via hdmi so UHD has to scaled down

Here is a short part of the debug log:

Under 10.0.4 There is no problem.
And i tried the legacy-image too

If something more is needed. Please tell me.

  • Today i had some time for testing
The problem is only when viewing UHD live-TV via Tvheadend HTSP.
mkv H265 files downloaded from Jellyfish run fine

  • Next tries:
    - Record UHD via thvheadend pass profile:

play it in kodi -> works fine

play it with vlc om my pc -> short video then video stops and audio continues

play it with windows 11 mediaplayer -> bugged video

play it with legacy mediaplayer -> running fine

    - stream UHD via tvheadend "pass"-profile to vlc on my pc -> short video then video stops and audio continues (same as when play recorded file)

    - stream UHD via tvheadend "matroska"-profile:

is working fine on vlc and on kodi with "use http for streams" enabled

So Libreelec seems not to be the problem but what can it be?
    The Tvheadend-HTSP addon?
Tvheadend itself (i don't think so, because with pass the transport stream should be untouched)
And why is the passed file running only some mediaplayers?

Here more infos about my system
    Tvheadend 4.3 on Debian Bullseye Server (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v3 @ 3.50GHz / 64GB RAM) with TBS 6909x
Libreelec 12 nightly on Intel Nuc7i3BNK

Can any admin please move it from "Bug reports" to where it should be posted....

  • I recorded a new log with LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-12.0-nightly-20231221-581a2fe because there is still no UHD
